Worth it - Our tour guides Jeff and his partner (I forgot her name! But she was *excellent* and excited about taking pictures for us at the different sites) were really good. Jeff made it interactive and fun, sharing facts, jokes, and history at every point of the journey. We really enjoyed that he took us into certain businesses (and he knew the owners personally) and let us out to look at some of the centers on the tour. Pickup was easy-- at the Marriot **on the street**, not on the Marriot property/parking areas at all). And dropoff was exactly in the same location. As an Atlanta native, Jeff also did a great job of navigating around the city in directions/routes that avoided most of the heavy traffic. They use a cool app where we can upload/share pix from the trip with other riders so that everyone has good pictures regardless of on which side of the van you sit. They also have a monitor in the van that Jeff used to share pictures/videos about the locations we visited and important historical/contemporary people to know about. This helped to give visuals to the stories he was sharing.

Roundabout's Black History and Civil Rights Tour. - Excellent tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable of the various areas in and Atlanta and their history including some areas not visited by other tours. Several stops allowed us to get out and walk around and explore on our own. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Take the tour--you won't be disappointed

Atlanta's Black History Tour is a MUST DO! - April 2024: Atlanta's Black History Tour is a MUST DO! Our driver and tour guide, Jeffrey, was so knowledgeable about Atlanta's black history and the civil rights movement and its icons. This was our first visit to Atlanta and this tour was a highlight of our trip. 4-hours may seem long for a tour, but I don't know how Jeffrey and the Roundabout team packed all the sites and information into that block of time. It includes so much important information about Atlanta's black community; historic neighborhoods and universities, entrepreneurs, Atlanta history and urban evolution; interesting stops along the way and fun photo ops. Roundabout Atlanta Tours & Transportation is the way to go. Thank you for sharing your city with us. MB & Don

10/10 Experience! - Our tour guide, Jeff, was wonderful. He took us to a number of Black owned spots all around the city. The historical facts were aplenty and so were the jokes. This is a great way to immerse yourself in Black History and Cutlure in Atlanta. I highly recommend this tour! We had a great time!

Choice one not both - Jeff was awesome very people friendly down to earth. With the pictures he brought the location to life He put really good comedy in the details of his descriptions. I will say this though if you want to learn a lot about (ATL) then choice this one over the (trolley). I wouldn't suggest both there is a lot of repeats.

Great tour - It wa s great your and Jeff kept it so real and told the black history of Atlanta so well that you’d think that he lived during those times. The front seat passenger was rather talkative n disturbed the tour which do annoy the other passengers who were recording or trying to hear Jeff. I was disappointed that we couldn’t stop at Tyler Perry’s studios due to filming n MLK birth home for renovations but that isn’t in your company’s control. I enjoyed being able to see the true neighborhoods n people of Atlanta as well as the culture and colleges. My only complaint was that I’m 5’11 and a big boned girl so that last row seat was so tight and the ride was so currently uncomfortable for me and my knees are still aching from yesterday!! I heard that the tour is being extended to other areas so wish I would’ve waited but I will definitely be bringing my family and friends to do the updated tour when they come down to visit!!
