SOOO Worth It! - This was a day I will remember all my life! While it was a five hour bus ride each way, the marvel and beauty of the monasteries was worth it. The sheer feat of architecture was breathtaking and the natural rock formations unparalleled. This is a must see when traveling to Greece. To miss this is like going to Arizona and not seeing the Grand Canyon!!!

Amazing place and lovely experience - I have to say that apart from the views and the amazing breathtaking monasteries, Clement and Dimitri were so nice, Clement is so knowledgeable he loves what he does, so passionate about his job, very funny, very caring about everyone excellent tour guide! Fantastic Day in Meteora! - This was one of the highlights of our Greece trip. Oue tour guide was Christos (sp) he met us at the train station when our train arrived. We immediately set off to tour the 3 monasteries they were absolutely breath taking. Christos took us to see all six but due to time limitations we could only see 3. He then took us to a restaurant in the center of Meteora. This was a perfect ending in Meteora. The good, bad and ugly of the tour: 1. Fantastic views of the monasteries. 2. The bad, makes for a long day, 4 plus hours on train bothe ways but well worth it. There really was no ugly. Advice would be to book 1st class on train.

Very knowledgable guides and wonderful time! - We had a wonderful time in Meteora! Our guides were extremely flexible with how we wanted to spend our day even helping us shorten the day by 30 min and finding a quick place to grab food before getting on the train. It is a truly beautiful area! Must do! And a must do with Meteora Thrones!

Amazing Sights! - The views were amazing and well worth the long train trip to get out there. We visited 3 monasteries and learned the history and culture behind them. Our guide Maria was excellent, meeting us from the train on time and explaining about the monasteries and areas in general. We had a group of 11 and everyone had a great experience. We were very lucky with the weather as expected rain held off till the end of the trip. This was certainly a day we will remember as a highlight of our visit to Greece.

Amazing place - The trip was very good organized. Train trio was replaced by bus from Athens but all went fine. We had a very nice weather and thus enjoyed unbelievably wonderful views. Driver Dimitri was driving us safely around the monasteries and guide Tim was explaining us about Meteora. The travel from Athens was long, but still it was really worth to do it to see this amazing place on the earth.

Great Experience with low AC - The tour to Meteora was great.The clear directions-train station, schedule, tickets- were easy to follow. The only issue was the AC not working properly in the bus. It’s a must to have a bus in great working conditions during the hot weather.

History - Amazing & mythical place. The gods choose Greece for some reason 🙂 And the men choose Meteora for speaking with God.
