Galatas - Galatas is a charming coastal town in the Attica region, situated directly across from Poros, separated by a narrow strait. Regular ferry services connect Galatas to Poros.
The journey from Athens to Galatas is approximately 160 km, taking around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Ferries depart every half hour throughout the year. The Galatas to Poros trip takes 5 minutes and costs 4€ for both a person and a car. Alternatively, you can cross to Poros by boat (1€/person, 5-minute trip, for passengers only) with continuous departures. -
