Warm, friendly, definitely worth a visit! - Nina is the best!!! She is so knowledgeable and friendly! She let us taste many different liquors. They were all very good but my favorite was the coffee. My son’s favorite was the lemon. We bought both! I highly recommend visiting this business, where you are made to feel like family!

Warm, welcoming and wonderful - From the warm welcome from Nina to the classy showroom to the delicious samples, this is one of the finest memories I will have of Greece. This establishment has such a rich history and justified family pride that it was a pleasure to learn about. I thoroughly enjoyed talking and laughing with Nina. The product line is top-notch, and I look forward to savoring my purchases at home. The next time I visit Athens, Polykala is on my list.

Put this on your must do list!! - Nina was so kind to us and let us taste so many delicious liqueurs while explaining the super interesting history of her family business and how each one is made! An absolute highlight of our trip to Athens, thank you beautiful lady we can’t wait to come back again one day!!

Definitely Worth the Stop - I saw this experience posted online, thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. Nina was very kind in telling me about the different liquors they had and offered me a taste of each one in which I was interested. She kindly answered all my questions and opened my eyes to a new taste experience. I did end up buying a few flavors because I really did enjoy them but she gave no pressure to do so. I highly recommend this little shop.

Lovely and accommodating! - We happened to be in the area of the distillery and dropped in. Nina was so accommodating and shared the love of her family’s business while providing tastings of the product. We took home a number of bottles and can’t wait to enjoy them!

Wonderful experience - Such a wonderful experience! Nina is so lovely, and it was truly amazing to hear all about the 125+ years history of this beautiful distillery. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens, you won’t regret :) You also get a 100ml liqueur free of charge, in a flavour of your choice!

Very disappointed - Arrived at 0915 for my 0930 visit, the Distillery did not open, left at 1000. Very disappointed. Not happy with the minimum characters, nothing more to say
