• Corinth Canal - After an hour’s drive, we will stop at the Corinth Canal, which links the Aegean Sea with the Adriatic Sea and was constructed in the 19th century. You will have the opportunity to capture stunning photos and admire this engineering marvel.
• Palamidi Castle - Enjoy the spectacular view of Nafplio town and the Argolic Gulf from this 17th-century fortress and experience the atmosphere of the Greek War of Independence.
• Nafplio - Explore the first capital of modern Greece. Wander through narrow streets filled with wonderful restaurants, cafes, and local product shops. Pause at Syntagma (Constitution) Square to admire the 18th and 19th-century buildings. Walk along the Nafplio port boulevard, overlooking the Bourtzi fortress, which was built to guard the port.
• Bourtzi - Built by architect Antonio Gambello from Bergamo in 1471, with construction completed by engineer Brancaleone. This fortress was erected by the Venetians after Mahmut Pasha’s departure in 1473 and was equipped with cannons. In 1502, the Venetians modified the fortifications on the southwest side into an independent rampart and created an artificial mound of boulders, attaching a chain to it. The chain was then connected to the city to prevent hostile ships from entering the harbor.
• Akronafplia Fortress - We will visit Akronafplia from the outside, a Venetian-style fortress, and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Argolic Gulf while taking plenty of photos.
