Greek Philosophy Tour: Walking with Socrates
Join an extraordinary journey through time and thought, beginning at the School Life and Education Museum located in the heart of Plaka. After a brief introduction to the realm of ancient Greek philosophy, participants will stroll along Tripodon Street—the oldest street in Athens—once walked by Socrates and other eminent philosophers.
The tour includes visits to the Theater of Dionysus and the prison where Socrates spent his last days. At the Pnyx, the cradle of democracy, participants will explore Plato’s philosophy through engaging readings and roleplay.
The walk concludes at the Areopagus, beneath the Acropolis, where a stimulating debate on democracy—both historical and contemporary—will take place.
