Perfect day in Meteora - Visited Greece during March 2024 and decided to take the Meteora tour. There is still issues with the train lines to she company set us up with a bus to do the drive from Athens to Kalambaka, we had good weather and no heavy traffic, the drive does take about 5 hours with 1 stop about 2.5 hrs in. The group was about 40 people, however once we got to Kalambaka the group was split into 2 smaller buses, about 15 to 20 each group which was perfect group size. We had Jim as out guide in Meteora. He is a local from Kalambaka and very knowledgeable about the history of the site. we visited 2 monasteries and drive through the site seeing the most iconic spots. The weather was great so we were able to have great pictures. Overall Meteora offers an amazing experienced, the site is amazing and breathtaking, Jim was a perfect guide and we enjoy our trip, it was a long days as we were back in Athens at around 1045 pm but well worth the trip.

Above and Beyond - This was by far the best tour I ever had. I was afraid I wouldn't get a good look at the hermit caves, the St. George Mandilas scarves, or even enter a nunnery, but then I met our guide Katerina and she made this trip perfect. - Stopped at every point of interest and got to know the history behind them and their current status, along with some personal remarks. She is a local and you can tell she is passionate about her home. Also, has a great sense of humor. - Made a quick stop for restrooms and a warm meal at a restaurant. - Visited the Varlaam Monastery and the Saint Stephen Nunnery and made a lot of stops for pictures along the way. - Even with some "technical difficulties", it didn't affect the tour because they have a plan B for every situation. - Also, if it rains, it even adds to the scenery. Don't be afraid to book this trip any time of the year :) This trip was way better than I could've ever imagined or even planned myself. This was a dream come true. Ευχαριστώ πολύ Κατερίνα!

Excellent trip, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides - A full day trip, but thoroughly worth it. The friendly guide had a great understanding of the monasteries, local history and the geology of the area. The monasteries are as interesting and beautiful as others we have seen elsewhere. A long journey each way (5 hours by coach), but is still worthwhile.

Amazing experience - Planning this trip couldn't have been easy, but the organisers did an excellent job to ensure that everything would run smoothly. Logistics management was splendid. Not only that, but our guide was super knowledgeable, engaging, funny, kind, and accommodating. She taught us a lot about the different stages of Greek Christianity and about the geography of Meteora. We also had great food, experienced some stunning views, and spent an entire day in the company of some very lovely people.

Very happy - Excellent. Well organised. Our guide Dimitris was lively, passionate, and we learned so many things. Perfect combination of fun facts / culture / photo spots... Extremely happy with the day. The restaurants were a bit of a tourist trap- price wise, but the food was fresh and delicious nevertheless.
