A mere hour’s drive from Athens will transport you to the bewitching shoreline of Harakas beach in Sounio. The journey itself, on the coastal route passing through Athens Vouliagmeni Lake, offers sceneries that quintessentially represent Greece.
This well-equipped beach provides the option of basking freely on the sand or renting a shaded sun bed. Undeniably, food and beverages are available for the indulgence. A minimum of two hours will be dedicated to leisurely relishing the beach, its sun, and sea.
As the day departs and the sun bows, a tour of the majestic Poseidon temple in Sounio is planned. We will partake in the grandiosity of the temple, learn about the archaeological findings, and most importantly, behold the sunset encased within Poseidon’s vigilant watch.
