Highly Recommend - Bianca was wonderful. She provided an introductory review to not just Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle but many critical thinkers from 500 BC to 1200 AD. Bianca’s delivery was not a lecture at the university level. Instead her analysis and description of ancient Greek philosophy was easy to understand.. We highly recommend her and the tour. The tour provides an important perspective on Greek contribution to Western culture.

Perfect Tour for Philosophy & Ancient Greece Lovers - This was an absolutely fantastic tour! John was a wonderful guide - warm, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. He brought Athens’ myths and philosophy to life in a clear, vivid and inspiring way. As a family of parents and two teens/young adults particularly interested in philosophy and Ancient Greece, this tour was perfect for us. It was a great combination of walking around Athens, seeing wonderful sights, and discussing myths, philosophers and history along the way. We especially enjoyed talking to John and exchanging ideas - he was so generous with his time that the tour lasted longer than the official 4 hours. (The drink stop in the middle was very welcome by the way!) One small suggestion for the organisers would be to consider offering a shorter version (maybe 2 - 3 hours?) as 4 hours may be long for some groups. That said, for us it was one of the very best tours we’ve ever done in Athens - highly recommended!

Greek Reasoning through the ages - This was a very education tour. Not only did John share his vast knowledge of the Greek philosophers, but he also taught us to distinguish architectural styles, how Greek philosophy has reached down through the ages influencing modern day Greece, and a lot of Greek history. Our group was made up of ages 16 to 70, and he paced it well and was able to connect with each of the participants. We enjoyed the tour.

New philosophy fans, thanks to tour guide Bianca! - My husband and I did this as a private tour at the end of our European honeymoon. We had one night in Athens before we headed back to the states and wanted some sort of guided exploration of the city to get the most out of our one night. We chose this tour because my husband has recently been very into Greek mythology. I will say, this particular tour is definitely more about philosophers than mythology, but we really enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide, Bianca, really made our experience exceptional. She is so kind, so knowledgable, and you can tell how much she really loves both Athens and the history that she is sharing. We very much recommend this or any other tour that Bianca gives!

Philosophy, History, and a Truly Remarkable Guide - What an amazing tour! Bianca was absolutely fabulous—so knowledgeable, fun, and full of energy. She didn’t just share facts; she really got us thinking and encouraged great discussion, which made the whole experience so much more engaging. We loved how she connected everything back to philosophy. We left feeling inspired and with a whole new appreciation for Athens and its history. Honestly, this was one of the highlights of our trip and we can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent tour, excellent guide - Excellent day learning about Athens, Greece, history, with focus on several philosophers, including Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, & more. Our guide, Bianca, was a true gem.. her knowledge, her love for what she does, her passion for sharing & caring, all stood out. Was my favorite tour out of the several I did over the ten days we spent in Athens & on our cruise.

Scam! - This is a total scam. I have a university degree in philosophy. I can tell you the guide made everything up—total lies that had nothing to do with philosophy. We went in Jan 2024.
