We’ll visit a specific location an hour before sunrise that offers us stunning panoramic views of Athens and its landmarks, all bathed in the glorious Mediterranean sunrise!
During this photo journey, I’ll guide you, if desired, through advanced photo techniques helping you to create magnificent photos of Athens. Alternatively, I’ll introduce you to my city from this elevated viewpoint, guiding you on how to capture the dawn’s light in the most effective way!
This experience is perfect for anyone wanting to admire and photograph an Athenian sunrise, whether being a seasoned photographer or a casual click and capture enthusiast!

The Best Photo Tour in Athens - Vasilis was a patient, knowledgeable instructor who is passionate about photography. This is infectious and has inspired me to take my photography to the next level of creativity. This was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget . I was pushed out of my comfort level and lived every minute of this experience. Definitely book a tour with Vasilis if you are looking to be inspired!

Amazing Sunrise Photo Tour - Photographing the sunrise over Athens was on my bucket list, and the highlight of my time in Athens was the Sunrise Photo Tour with Vasilis. Vasilis is such a passionate photographer, guide, and instructor, and his enthusiasm is infectious. Throughout our session, Vasilis made outstanding recommendations on composition and settings that I would not have thought of on my own, resulting in a diverse and outstanding set of sunrise photos over Athens. Vasilis also knows Athens inside and out, so he knows where to go for outstanding shots, and was great about putting Athens and our shooting location into context for me. Beyond getting great pictures, Vasilis made watching the sunrise over Athens an amazing experience. I highly recommend booking a tour or session with him while you are in Athens.

A fantastic morning! - Vasilis was excellent! Even though I’m a local, and been in that spot before, Vasilis made me see it with brand new eyes like it was the first time I visited.
As a photography enthusiast, I decided to take this tour to elevate my photographic knowledge. I was totally happy with Vasilis, got away with spectacular photos and enjoy this morning very much.

Amazing experience! - Your sunrise photography of us with Acropolis and the rest of athens during our honeymoon is absolutely stunning! You have captured the beauty of this ancient monument and our love for each other in such a unique and breathtaking way. AMAZING PHOTOS! - If you are looking for a professional photographer to do a photo walk in Athens, Photo Walks Athens is a great choice. Vasilis led me on a sunrise tour one day and a sunset tour of the city on a different day. His knowledge of Athens is vast. He was really helpful with the techniques of photography. I was able to get awesome photos of the Acropolis from vantage points I would never have been able to find on my own. It was time and money well spent.

Wonderful way to start your day in Athens! - It’s hard to imagine a better way to start your day in Athens, than watching the sun rise over the Acropolis. Vasilis is a professional photographer and so patient and helpful! He guided us to an ideal location for the sunrise and helped us take some amazing pictures. Meanwhile, Vasilis kept us entertained with great stories and brought a wonderful little breakfast to enjoy with the sunrise. An altogether magical experience. My husband and I highly recommend the sunrise tour with Vasilis!!

Well worth it - Vasilis is an expert photographer and passionate Athenian who was willing to put up with my inexperience in photography. He showed me how to maximise use of my own camera to take some incredible sunrise photos of Athens and the Acropolis.
