- Psirri - This is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods where we will mingle with the locals and discover some unique spots.
- Agia Irini Square - This is one of the most vibrant areas of Athens where we will enjoy the delicious Greek style pizza!
- Monastiraki - Discover one of the best-hidden tavernas of Athens, a real apocalypse even for locals. Gimme that old time nostalgia as you visit one of the most iconic places where you will enjoy typical Greek tapas (mezes) and drink wine. The menu is based on seasonal ingredients the owner buys every day from the main food market of the city, just a few meters away. The vegetables, meat, and fish taste best when in season and at their peak and the menu changes constantly in order to provide you the freshest ingredients. This legendary taverna will make you feel like an authentic Athenian.
Stroll around the Spice street where you will find the best herbs that are collected from all over the Greek peninsula.

Join us on our Evening Food Tour where we allow you to experience the city’s soul and witness its transformation at night! We will wander the city center, visiting hidden dining spots guided by a local culinary aficionado.
We will dive into Greek culture and traditions in the lively districts of Monastiraki and Psirri, socializing with residents and uncovering their favorite hangouts.
We will indulge in authentic Greek flavors, savoring delectable original Greek dishes including Souvlaki or Gyros, traditional Greek pies, a pizza with a Greek twist, a scrumptious dinner in a neighborhood tavern and so much more.

We meet in front of a pastry shop called Lonis (next to Monastiraki metro station-Athinas street metro exit). Please make sure you come on time and check where the meeting point is located. We strongly recommend you leave early due to any inconvenience you may find on the way (traffic, strikes etc).

Fun and informative - Great opportunity to visit different areas and sample numerous types of food. Our host Katerina was knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. Plenty of food and learnt a lot about Greek food origins.

Take this food tour with Katerina! - We did the Athens Evening Food Tour with Katerina and had a great time! All the food was delicious and we appreciated Katerina’s commentary of the history and significance for each dish. You can tell that, Katerina is a foodie and loves her job! If you are wondering if you’ll have enough food on this tour? Yes more than enough! We were already full after the second stop of the food tour! Katerina also went above and beyond when my friend lost her phone at the end of the tour. Katerina called the police and helped us every step of the way to ensure we were ok. Thank you Katerina! We appreciate you so much!

Great Experience All Around - This was a great food tour! We made our way through the bustling streets of Athens to 5 different, unique restaurants. The variety gave us a nice “flavor” of Greek cuisine. The guide (Elena) kept the 11 of us together and was very engaging. She showed us many examples of local street art and answered all questions we asked. She made sure all of us enjoyed the experience. We would do this again for sure!!

Great tour - As a family of 4 we looked to do something different in the evening and this food tour was just perfect to finish the day after visiting the city during the day. It gave us an opportunity to taste many different Greek dishes and snacks that we would not get if we just went out for a meal to a restaurant. We passed a few different places tasting meat, honey and snacks before we headed to a traditional Greek taverna for a tasty dinner. Our guide was very friendly and talked about the places we were passing and Greek history as we were walking for place to place.

My 60th bday & walking tour - Neffie, our guide, was awesome!! Very knowledgeable about the history of the food & what we were eating & the diff places she took us to. I really enjoyed this trip! It was my birthday & the guide & all the others on the tour were awesome! They helped me celebrate & every1 was so kind! I'd definitely recommend this tour, if u can, ask 4 Neffie!
