At your preferred time, a seasoned English-speaking driver will collect you from the airport in a private car and offer you a complimentary bottle of water. Our drivers lack the certification to join you at the attractions but they have a wealth of knowledge about the locations visited, also providing all essential historical context and local insight.
The sightseeing trip is entirely private and tailored to you, meaning you and your driver have the freedom to decide which suggested locations you want to visit and how much time you want to spend there. While a recommended itinerary is always provided, you are welcome to adjust it to suit your tastes.
- Our operators are not official tour guides but English-speaking professional drivers and Locals that have been provided with all the necessary historical information about the sights visited. They cannot accompany you into the sights but will provide extended historical and local information to help you get the feeling of the city.
- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs, or bikes) may be subject to restrictions—please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage can be accommodated. Please note: If your group consists of 4 travelers and each person has large luggage, a minivan may be required for a comfortable fit. To ensure a minivan is assigned, please make the booking for 5 passengers.

Very, Very Highly Satisfied Customers. - From start to finish of our Personal Tour. We, my sister and I, found Jonathan, Viator Agent, organising our Tour via phone call and Themos, our assigned Personal Tour Guide, so professional, supportive, friendly and both of them, went the extra mile for us, in difficult situations. Jonathan had great patience and was so supportive on the phone getting all our details to organise online and Themos, due to my sister's mobility limititations and our mistake with misbooking a Museum ticket, conversed with staff at Acropolis Slopes and got us Disability Assist to enable us to visit this amazing Archaelogical tteasure, which really made our Tour so special and without Themos's expert , professional and friendly manner with staff at eentrance to A S, there's no way this would of happened for us. He was so nice, shared so much history and personal experience, made our Tour so comfortable, enjoyable. Themos was on the phone to us, connecting at all time, for our collection points etc. He was a true pleasure and filled us in on required local information. Was early on his pickup for us at Port Pireaus and early and efficient with our dropoff at Athen's Airport, filling us in with all necessary details needed in Airport. Exploring Athens - We got the best view for the changing of the guard at the president house. We then got to go through the national garden. We then went to the Olympic stadium and a hill top with a church. We also went to the academy next to the national library. We also got to see palaka shopping center and got great recommendations for food. Everywhere we went we got informational stories and personal stories. Our guide Glykeria was the best. We would choose her every time.

Best of Athens for you - Excellent excursion, 100% personalized, in which our driver and guide, Glykeria Kalomvouni took us to all points of interest, with the best criteria and the best attention. His explanations gave great added value to the program of the day.

Personalized Afternoon Visit To Athens - Giorgos responded to our interests with a perfect itinerary for the five hours we had with him. Having previously visited Athens twice before, we had already seen most of the primary sites. Following his suggestions, we were able to avoid repeating past visits and were able to explore places of which we had no prior knowledge. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Excellent driver in Athens - Michael - Our driver Michael who collected us from the airport in Athens was so great that we asked him to collect us the next day and drop us off for our cruise and then contacted him again when returning and he helped plan a great day out seeing all of the major Athenian sights and more! He was excellent at communicating, always keeping us informed of where he was and how and where to meet him! Highly recommend!

Viator staff demonstrated... - Viator staff demonstrated highly irresponsible and unaccountable attitude. Despite reminding them multiple times, they booked my travel at incorrect schedule in my recent travel to Athens. I lost almost USD3K due to this disaster done my Viator and their tour partner. I recommend never booking a tour with Viator instead consider other operators and deal directly with tour company.
