The best of the best bites accompanied by the best stories - We had family visiting from abroad and we decided to book a food tour for all of us at the beginning of their journey. Hands down this was the best decision and the best tour agency selection. As our group was big (8 people) we opted for a private tour. Both us and our visitors were super impressed. We, the locals rediscovered our city and were introduced to places that we did not know, our visitors fell in love with Athens, the food, the feeling and we could not be happier and prouder. We were navigated through family run shops, cafes and delis where everything was delicious and FRESH. Thank you, Athens Bites, for (re-)introducing the city to us. Highly, highly recommended!

A must!!!! - Exploring Athens with 'ATHENS BITES TOURS' was an absolute delight! A truly must! Our guide, Eleni, was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging, bringing the rich history and culture of Athens to life with every story and stop on the tour. The food tastings were perfectly chosen, showcasing a wide variety of local Greek cuisine that was both authentic and delicious. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to dive deep into the culinary heart of Athens while enjoying the city's vibrant atmosphere. A truly memorable experience!! Recommended!

Incredible food tour and introduction to Athens. One of our best tours ever! - A full Greek gastronomical experience focused on Greek history, diversity & tradition. Loved all the stops and background of each location, from delis, street food eateries, pastry shops, cafés; we enjoyed multiple savory and sweet bites in good ration. You could tell that the itinerary was well thought and researched and the small group makes all the difference as you are able to connect and appreciate everything in a more intimate way. Valentini our host, is a true connoisseur of food and Athens giving us a lot of bite size information and stories and many useful recommendations. Recommend to book this tour at the beginning of your trip, come hungry and prepare to skip lunch and possibly dinner. Great worth of your time and money!

Exceeded our expectations by far! - We booked this food tour with high expectations based on the incredible trip advisor reviews and it was a blast! The Greek food experience is about 5 hours and we ate at 9 different places, enjoying 10+ flavorful and so fresh food. By the end of the tour were happily full. If you ever in Athens, join this food experience, you will learn from a wonderful local guide and get to try incredible food whilst exploring vibrant Athenian neighborhoods. We loved every minute of the Greek & International food tour. A must for foodies! - We’re frequent travelers and one of our favourite things to do in any new city is to do a foodie tour. Greek & International Street food tour from Athens Bites is an absolute must do. We loved this tour from start to finish. The tour guide was excellent. She genuinely cared about each one of us on the tour. Book this tour early in your trip, so you can walk Athens and know where to visit and eat for the rest of your stay! Fantastic experience in Athens - The best guided tour of our trip (and beyond). Do not miss!
Wow! Wow! Wow! It was such a great way to kick off our vacation! We opted for the Food & Wine tour as we are both foodies and wine lovers. It was an immersive tour led by Valentini who was absolutely amazing; her knowledge, her passion, her warmness… everything! We tasted a well curated selection of indigenous varieties, white, rose and red in different spots all accompanied by great food and excellent dessert at the end. It was certainly an enriching experience we wouldn’t have otherwise done ourselves. We take food tours everywhere we travel in the world and this was one of the very best. And definitely the best value for the money paid!

Amazing in-depth food tour of Greek food scene - The duration of the tour was almost five hours, very well paced and, went by in a flash. It was a spectacular introduction to Athens and all the delicious local delicacies. Loved all the stops and background on each of the locations. Valentini had a lovely way of making us feel less like tourists and more like her personal guests. We are so glad we booked this tour!

The best way to learn about Greek food culture. - I chose this tour because it seemed higher end and I was correct and so happy with my decision. Wonderful experience from start to finish! Valentina was awesome, our group was cool, we ate, we drunk, we learn and had such a lovely time. We visited many places; we wouldn’t have tried alone. We loved every bite savory or sweet. You could tell that we have visited the best places. We had souvlaki, pies, honey donuts (OMG), cheeses, pastourma, olives, Greek coffee, loukoumi, honey and olive oil tasting, raki, dolma, sheep yoghurt and a bonus stop for ice cream. Also, we walked away with great recommendations for places to eat, drink and shop.

A fabulous and tasty experience from the first minute till the last! - This was a fabulous experience. I had family and friends visiting from abroad and was looking for something exciting and fun to do around Athens. As a frequent traveller, I have participated in many food tours but never in my own country. The experience exceeded my expectations as we visited places that mostly I was not aware of but could easily appreciate the reason they were where selected. Every stop was the best of its kind, fresh, authentic and super delicious. All the group members agreed that this experience was their highlight in their visit in Athens. A fantastic experience! Would recommend 100% to anyone! - We decided to do Greek & International Street Food Experience as a family activity during a bank holiday. Although we are from Athens, we rarely have the opportunity to visit the city center. For a day we were tourists in our own city and every minute was magical. We discovered incredible food venues, back streets that we never walked before and wonderful stories. Our teenagers were super excited and already asking when we are going to do it again. Our guide Eleni was upbeat and jovial, nice to everyone on tour (especially to our teenagers) full of stories and passion. Enjoyable 4+ hours exploring 3 neighborhoods of Athens. Quality of food was really great and plentiful. Would recommend 100% to anyone!
