Great e bike tour - chilled but we covered a lot! - We had a great time exploring Athens, finding areas we wouldn’t have found on our own and covering more ground than we could have done only on foot. We were lucky enough to end up with a private tour, just the four of us, so could see a lot in our 3 hours. We had some fabulous e-bikes that made the ride very chilled and our 11 year old was able to join us on a good mountain bike with suspension to help with pavements (some tours do not allow 11 year olds). Our guide Andreas and his colleague Niko were knowledgeable and patient and we enjoyed a great coffee stop with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. We went back to a few of the things we had seen on our next day. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Biking in Athens was a highlight of my visit! - Till, my leader was very knowledgeable and fun! The tour meandered through a mostly flat area in the heart of Athens, with stops at the historical sites. Till had recently finished his masters in Balkan Studies, which includes archeology and history, so he was extremely knowledgeable. His English was flawless because of his time in the U.S. as an exchange student. He also speaks German and French fluently! The electric bike worked flawlessly. We had a fun coffee stop and Till treated me to a chocolate covered waffle. Delicious! Highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful discovery of Athens by bike - We were accompanied by the very friendly Nina on our tour.
Nina knows her subject well it was a very pleasant outing and rich in descriptions.
We enjoyed very good mountain bikes.
Athens goes up and down!
Electric assistance would have been a plus 🙂we had not taken the option.
But it's completely manageable without it.

Glad I took this tour - This was an excellent tour and I thoroughly recommend it. The guide, Menelaos, was not only very knowledgeable but also good company. Monuments and sites which you might otherwise just walk past were brought to life by his story telling. This gives you ideas about where to revisit during the remainder of your stay. I suggest choosing the ebike option as there are more gradients in Athens than you might imagine.

Tour de Athens - Nice way to see the highlights of Athens in a short time. Guide tells interest facts about the area and can also provide you with tips for other locations.
Pleasant side effect was the free upgrade to an ebike😊

Excellent tour on bike - Excellent tour with e-bikes through many top attractions. Needed to change our date by a couple of days and host was excellent in offering alternate times! Saw many sights that we couldn’t possibly see on foot. George was very detailed and the pace was enjoyable. Stopped at a beautiful restaurant for refreshments and a snack which was included.

Athens is better by bike! - We had a wonderful time with Joanne (sp?) biking through the city botanical garden, circling the acropolis on city streets, rolling through neighborhoods we would never have experienced on our own, and stopping at a quaint cafe for beverage and a chocolate covered waffle. It was such a great opportunity to get to know the city, and not just the ruins (nothing against them, but this city has a lot more to offer!). Joanne was a super guide, sharing city insights with humor and smarts. And once the ride was over, they went beyond the call of duty, giving us a terrific list of places to visit, restaurants (which we visited and enjoyed), and tips for finding unique experiences during our stay. (Wish we could have made it to Lake Vouliagmeni!) Friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We loved the experience.
