Three tours in one! - This experience is like three tours in one! We had a fantastic day with a very knowledgable guide. The first part was a walking tour through the city, then we met up with more people before heading up to the hill to the ruins and ended our day with a tour of the Acropolis museum (which was only the two of us with our guide). I highly recommend going to the museum to get a better understanding of what you see at the ruins site. Tina walked us through the museum and did an excellent job of making the connections between what we had just seen throughout the ruins and the museum exhibits. We greatly appreciated that we were not rushed and that our guide spent extra time with us to make sure we saw everything. Tina's pride in her country, as well as, her love of history and mythology was evident throughout the entire day.

Wow, what a learning experience - Anna was our guide and we did the 4-hour tour starting at the Acropolis for 2 hours then going to the museum for the remaining time. We learn a lot about the Acropolis and a lot about Greek mythology.. I recommend the tour as well as specifically the tour guide Anna, she was funny, kept us engaged, and was able to quickly get us in and out of the crowded spaces.

Endless history! - A lovely way to see the city and learn the endless history present! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We only wish we had more time on top of the acropolis to wander and admire the views before continuing on to the museum.

A tour which was 2/3 quite good - Overall, very good. However, the first portion of the tour was mediocre, at best, which was a "tour" through the subway station with a rapid fire narrative with an assortment of random facts without context or story, followed by a walk through a park with similar disjointed narrative. The tour of the Acropolis and museum was excellent with an engaging guide. Suggest only the Acropolis and museum tour.

Day tour - The start of the starts at the bottom of escalator of the Metra station. If you use Google maps it takes you above the station. Once I figured that out and stopped being frustrated it was very pleasant. Lol! We were in a group of about 12 people and they issued us ear pieces to hear the guide as she talked and explained everything. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of Athens long history and we enjoyed the walk through all the places. After a couple hours we took a break and we went with another guide to tour the acropolis some stayed with the our original guide. The second guide was also nice and knowledgeable. It was harder to hear her on the ear piece. It kept sounding scratchy and when she turned her head away from the microphone I could barely hear her. We had skip the line access to the Acropolis which I thought was a must as seeing the line long like an amusement park ride. But speaking with other people later on I discovered they allow so many people an hour. So once that hour comes they almost get everyone through. At top of the Acropolis seeing the Parthenon and old sights were amazing. It was very windy at the top. The tour was definitely worth it.

Not worth the money… Lots of standing around listening - The first hour and a half was pretty much standing in 3 different spots listening to the tour guide talk… but then we were only given a 20 minute break to grab a drink/bite to eat and go to the restroom. Then we spent the next 45 minutes sitting on a rock OUTSIDE the Aceopolis, listening to our tour guide talk about the Acropolis… And then my husband and I left the tour. WASTE of money.
