This walking tour offers you the opportunity to explore the Acropolis Monuments with a licensed tour guide. Whether you arrive in Athens in the afternoon or morning and you want to visit the Acropolis when the weather is more cooler, and the crowds are starting to wane, this tour is for you. This unique and leisurely tour takes you to the glorious Parthenon, and you will get to enjoy the landmark monuments of the Greek capital in a new light.
- Persons under 18 years old they must need their passports to ensure their age as they have a discounted entrance ticket, a photocopy on mobile device will work too.
- EU citizens under 25 years old they should bring their passports too, a photo copy on a mobile device or passport or ID will work
- Entrance fees are included (unless you book without entrance tickets) - if you choose without you will need to book them on line at the official website asap since they can be sold out days in advance, if still tickets are sold please inform us to book them for you in advance
- Infants must sit on laps - Strollers are not allowed within Acropolis, you can leave your stroller at the meeting point in our premises at Porinou 5.

- You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.

- Please make sure this tour includes approximately one mile of walking uphill/downhill on uneven surfaces and 200 steps (both ways).
- Guests are advised to wear flat and comfortable walking shoes. Large backpacks and oversized purses are not permitted inside the site. Long queues and waiting might occur and every effort is made to coordinate the best timings for visits.

Our guide was very... - Our guide was very knowledgeable and handled a wide variety of fitness levels very well. It rained a ton the day we went so she was extra cautious with the conditions.

Parthenon and Acropolis tour - Missy, our tour guide was exceptional! Missy was very knowledgeable and informative! She is also an archeologist and she was very detailed in her talks. Missy also gave interesting and personal anecdotes of the people in ancient Greece. Whenever possible she had her talks in the shade. In short, we couldn't have asked for anyone better to guide our tour!!

Great walking tour with learning and enjoying the Acropolis of Athens - We had a great walking tour to the Acropolis and museum with Petros our guide.

Standing Before History — Our Unforgettable Visit to the Acropolis & Parthenon - Visiting the Acropolis and standing in front of the Parthenon was an experience that left us speechless. Seeing it in person — the detail, the scale, the sense of history in every marble block — is something no photo can truly capture.
The restoration work happening now is incredible; you can see the mix of original stone and new marble being carefully integrated, preserving this ancient masterpiece for generations to come. The informational signs all around helped us understand how the Parthenon evolved and how much effort is going into keeping it standing after thousands of years.
Walking up the rocky path, surrounded by people from all over the world, you really feel the weight of history and the beauty of human achievement. It’s humbling and inspiring at the same time.
We went on a cloudy afternoon, which actually gave it this dramatic, almost timeless feel — perfect for photos and just soaking it all in. Absolutely worth every step to the top.

Avoid in bad weather - Avoid this tour if the weather conditions are poor. Our tour was only one hour out of the promised 2 hours due to heavy rain.
Otherwise the tour was very informative with a pleasant and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the information shared.
