- Makrygianni - Our Private tour takes 3-Hours which is roughly split into 80 Minutes at the Acropolis and associated Temples, Theaters and buildings, and 80 Minutes at the Acropolis Museum.
MEETING OUR GUIDE. Your guide will be waiting at the ‘Acropoli’ Metro Station at street level which is located at 7 Makrygianni Street, and close to the Acropolis Museum
Our meeting spot provides an ideal perspective from which to view the surrounding wall of the Acropolis built by the earlier Mycenean Civilization and to provide you with an introduction to the History of the Acropolis, its importance and role in the life of ancient Greece, and an overview of the temples & amazing monuments you are about to see.
If choosing the ‘CITY TOUR LUXURY VEHICLE’ option, return transfers are included so we will be at your Hotel or Cruise ship terminal to meet you.

- ADMISSION TICKETS: Please note that admission is not included. Tickets for some dates and time slots can be in heavy demand so we kindly request that you turn up for your tour with appropriate tickets; either having bought these yourself, or having asked us to buy these on your behalf. Otherwise we are not responsible for any delays. If you need us to purchase Skip-the-line Tickets for you, just let us know by message after booking.
- ADMISSION TICKETS SEMI-PRIVATE OPTION: If choosing this option your admisison tickets are boght in advance for you & you will need to reimburse your guide 25 Euro per ticket in cash
- REDUCED MOBILITY. We want all our guests to fully enjoy their tour in the most comfortable way possible. If you have reduced mobility or can only walk for short distances, we request that you let us know after booking since there are various measures we can put in place to reduce the time you spend on your feet.
- WHEELCHAIR USERS. For wheelchair users it is necessary to have an able-bodied person accompanying. Please let us know after booking as there are various measures we can take to make the tour most easy. It is also possible to extend your tour time on request. If choosing our City Tour Option with Transfers included by vehicle, please let us know. Our vehicles can accommodate folding wheelchairs only and are not fully equipped for disabled use.

Amazing experience in Athens - Our Guide was Anna. She is very professional, competent and speaks also an excellent Italian. We learnt really a lot. Our kids were also very happy.

If You're Not Taking This Tour, You're Missing Out Lots of Context - I could not have asked for a better tour. Betty filled the walks between sites with fun facts and historical color. She was friendly, and a darn good photographer. I did a little bit of research about the Acropolis and the museum before I went so I could have some color, but I should have saved myself the trouble because Betty shared everything I'd read and then some. Seeing these wonders was magnified by hearing the history and context. She even pointed out several things I would have completely missed had I gone guide-less.

Best way to view Acropolis - First time to Athens so wanted a good guide to explain exactly what looking at. Our guide was super friendly and was a real pleasure hanging out with her. When seeing how busy the site is I was really glad that we booked the private tour so that could bypass the larger groups and have a more personal experience.

Great time at the Acropolis - We had a lovely time with our guide Betty. She really enhanced the experience for us by providing us much more information than we could have gotten simply on our own.
We visited the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis itself. Of course the Acropolis was spectacular as you can imagine. But the Museum was also quite special. It was designed in such a way as to complement the site itself. You should definitely spend some time in the museum.

Excellent visit to the Acropolis - Betty, our guide, was very well versed in the history of Athens and did a great job. It’s a long hard walk up the Acropolis, but it was certainly worth the time and effort. Betty really helped us understand the significance of the important sites we were seeing.

Eva tour guide is Amazing! - Eva was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!! She had such in depth knowledge of the history of Athens while weaving in Mythology too. Her tour was beyond thorough and detailed. Awesome experience.
