A good experience but long day out - Was a good trip to the atlas mountains and castle at quadrate. Film studio and cinema stops were not great and just made the return journey seem longer. Hotel at film studio has sign outside inviting people to come on and check the hotel out. This well dressed 70 year old was revented from entering by security. Never the less a good value day out

Great experience and Good tour!! - Amazing trip. Medhi from Morocco berbers tours is very helpful person. We had amazing time. Unforgettable. We have organised many parts of the trip with Morocco berbers tours as pick up and drop of from airport, day tour of Marrakech and 3 day desert private tour. Brilliant service. Fulfill all requirements and had answer all our questions. We travaled with two kids but Medhi made sure that everything is suitable for kids too. Highly recommended. When come back to Morocco we are going to use them services again thank you ...!!!

Memorable trip through Atlas mountains - Our guide Monir was excellent. His broad knowledge about the world, and all things Moroccan were a superb addition to the information given about the beautiful landscapes and the people of the region.

Day trip to Ait Ben Haddou - A bit of confusion about my pick up but once I was on the mini bus all went smoothly. This is an early start and full day of travel but there were several stops on route for photo opportunities and comfort breaks. The drive is long but through the mountains and very beautiful. When we got to Ait Ben Haddou we were handed over to a local guide (this part cost extra & note he spoke English). The site is magnificent but there are steep and uneven steps to climb and this was all done as quite a speed. Personally I would have preferred to wander off alone and regroup later. Following this we ate lunch at local restaurant (costs not included) and then set off on the return journey via studio (exterior only) and the Museum of cinema. Driver dropped us all back to Marrakesh around 9pm that evening. Note - tip your driver it is a long day for him too! PS I traveled solo but there were approx 20 people on this tour or various nationalities.

Hit or miss - The tour guide was good. Very friendly and very informative. The problem is the restaurant we went after Ait ben Haddou. Communication wasn’t clear considering they should’ve improved by now having to deal with a lot of tourists. There’s a set menu which is plate of salad, main course and desert, all for 130dirhams. They don’t tell you that you can buy ala carte unless you ask. The salad and the desert is okay. The main dish was good. Drinks not included in the amount. It took a long time to cook them which I understand coz it has to be fresh. But the problems is, when I finally received my food, I was told to pay up and finish my meal quickly. It’s not nice to choke on couscous you know. So if you’re not bothered with poor service in the restaurant and just want to have a good tour in ait ben haddou then go for this tour.

A good day out in the sun - Booked the tour through Viator for a really good price, ended up on the same tour that others had booked through their Riads that cost them more than through the website so happy with that. Tour was great, stops were great, aircon on the bus. Guide was great, gave us lots of information and the tour was very informative and interesting. Packed a lot into the day. Downsides it was a looooong day. I wouldn't have minded as much if the travel times on the tour were accurate but they underestimated how long the journey there would take. Took about 4 hours to get to ait ben haddou. we got there are 12pm after leaving around 8am. By that time everyone was starving, they should have taken us to lunch before taking us into Ait Ben Haddou as it was a hike up hill in the sun, the tour of that took about 2 hours and by the end everyone was really hangry. I think they would have sold more carpets during that portion of the tour if we had been fed. They took us to a pre chosen restaurant which was fine. 10+ Euros for the meal and it was fine. There's not really any bad food in morocco. We had a choice to go to Ouarzazat or Atlas studios and we were the only people who chose the studio because we wanted to see the sets. We thought it was super cool, downside is they told us they would come back to get us in an hour so we left our tour early so the bus wouldn't leave us behind. The bus didn't come back for another 30 or more minutes after they said so we definitely didn't need to leave the tour early which was a bummer as we missed some of the sets. Got some cool photos though. Overall fun day and great for the price, despite the added tips and costs here and there.

Long journey - Overall it was okay. When booking website stated 15 people maximum per group. We had 20, we got picked up from hotel slightly late and arrived as the last two to a full minibus that was waiting in town. When we got on, there was one seat at the back and two free seats of three at the front with a huge guy occupying 1 and 1/2 seats. So we squeeze next to him in the front and we get on our way. The journey took over 4 hrs through mountains with two stops on route, my legs were numb and back aching, so the stops were welcomed. We arrive and the tour guide was lovely, they take you to toilets that cost 3DH so make sure you have money. We spend 1.5 hours visiting and we then get taken to a restaurant of their choice for lunch for 1hr. Only 5 local options on menu and cost around 125dh for starter main and fruits. The tour guide also collects 30DH from each person in the restaurant for the tour. Of course you on’t have to have lunch you can go and explore, the food was okay. Then we leave and make our way to the film museum but driver only gave us 30/40 mins time so we didn’t bother go in. If you do, the museum charge you entry fee. The return journey took over 5 hrs with one stop. The traffic was so bad in centre of Marrakesh that we didn’t get back to our hotel until 9.30pm. Summery - very long journey 9hrs + to spend 1.5hrs on a tour and 30/40 minutes in museum. PS, we didn’t get any water that was mentioned in the booking so take your own. Overall it was a king wasted day for us, but I enjoyed the tour. Don’t forget to tip the driver at the end, he was really good and friendly and drove long hours.
