Highlights
- Temple of Philae - The Philae or Isis Temple stood on Philae Island south of Aswan, and after the construction of the high dam, the temple was under water for several months of the year. Therefore, the temple was transferred to the neighboring island of Agilika from 1977 to 1980. In 553 AD, the temple served as a church, so much of the relief in the temple was destroyed.

Longest Road Trip Ever - When I booked this tour, nothing could have prepared me for how challenging it was going to be. It was a great scenic trip in theory but a ridiculously long journey when we set out. Basem and Michael were super efficient in keeping my spirits up and keeping me informed as I made my way to Abu Simbel for the for the first time. I enjoyed the road trip nonetheless but I recommend air travel for this trip instead.

Aswan Abu simbel - Unforgettable experience. Good organization. Everything was well taken care of. Hotel of your choice. Safe driver and experienced private guide. We recommended a trip to Abu Simbel. Mateja and Robert.
