- Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Your private guide will collect you from your hotel in Aswan at 5 A.M for the three-hour drive south: you’ll travel in your own comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for this private tour of Abu Simbel.\nBuilt during the reign of the great Pharaoh Ramses II, in the 13th century BC, these two vast rock-cut temples are dedicated to Ramses II and his wife, Nefertari. They are considered architectural masterpieces of Egypt’s New Kingdom and so, when Aswan’s High Dam was first built, flooding their original location, the Egyptian government and UNESCO worked together to save both temples from the flood.\nYour guide will escort you to the Great Temple, or Sun Temple, built in honor of Ramses II and dedicated to him and four other gods, as well as the smaller temple dedicated to his wife Nefertari, and also known as the Temple of Hathor. A qualified Egyptologist, he will explain the fine details of the rock-cut carvings and statuary, as well as how the temples were saved from the flood.\nAfter around two hours at the temples, you’ll return to Aswan at 12:30.

Just Amazing!!!!! - We had the most amazing time during this tour. We had the best tour guide, Ahmed Abdulla. He was extremely knowledgeable and such a nice person. By the end of our trip he felt like family. He made our trip extra special. The views in Abu Simbel were jaw dropping to say the least. You have to be there to really take in all of its beauty.

Wow what can I say!
2 amazing days away with canary tours Egypt arranged by Aladdin Darwish and Mahmoud.
To Aswan And Abu Simbel
It’s a long journey But so well worth it, and arranged and organised perfectly, nothing was too much trouble at all.
The train journey back from Aswan past Luxor along the Nile was great.
If your thinking of doing something other laying on a beach then you really must speak to Canary tours to sort something out.
Would highly recommend these guys they never cease to amaze.
we are returning September 2020 and i know who we will be using
