Driving tour - Mody was a really nice driver. He made us feel good from the start, adjusting to our preferences and being welcoming. While we did the tour, he explained us some history, told us facts and offered his help with everything we needed. I reccomend booking this trip with him.

Great experience overall - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Mohamed was very easy to communicate with and promptly responded to our questions from the time we booked with him. He also guided us with our plans in other cities. Because he earned our confidence from the beginning, we ended up booking another trip with him. On the day of our tour, Mo showed up promptly on time with a nice clean car. Mo is a really nice young chap, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable but not pushy at all. He was respectful of our personal space and privacy while still being available for great conversations. He negotiated a good price for our boat ride. We also requested for him for our ride from Aswan to Luxox. He was a safe driver and we had another great ride with him. We ended up sharing family photos and phone numbers for our future travels. We would highly recommend Mo and his company to anyone travelling to Egypt. They gave us the best quotes for our travels and the best service we could have asked for. If you decide to go with them, feel free to mention about this review from the Canadian couple!

Temple Philae - Philae Temple with my friend Moataz. Visiting the Temple of Philae was an unforgettable experience. Located on Agilkia Island in the Nile River near Aswan, this ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Isis is one of the most beautiful and serene sites in Egypt. As you approach by boat, the sight of the temple rising from the water is truly magical. The carvings, columns, and hieroglyphs are incredibly well-preserved, offering a glimpse into the rich mythology and artistry of ancient Egypt.

Philea no guide transfer only - We opted for the transfer only as we booked very last minute. The tour company was super accommodating. Our driver was really nice. I would not recommend doing this without a guide unless you are ok haggling boat operators for passage across to the island. The tour company gave us some good pointers on how to do this, but we still paid too much. You are kind of a sitting duck without a guide. Once on the island the temples are impressive. Note if you do the light show you will not be able to walk around to see the site. So you will need to go back again to walk around the ruins.
