The most relaxing way to travel from Aswan to Luxor - Medium size river cruise ship, nice appointments, good food, the usual available excursions into Edfu and Esna, excellent crew, comfortable loungers, could not ask for more.

1 night Aswan to Luxor Cruise - We actually had a 2 day 1 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor on board the Semiramis II. The boat itself was not new but the view of the Nile along the way was nothing less than spectacular and completely relaxing. There was very good food on board served by very nice people. All in a great experience!

Nice Nile Sailing Tour - The cruise ship is nice. The room is clean. The food is delicious. But, the drink , even water, is very expensive. So make sure to bring you own water if you want to save money.

Unpleasant ship, disorganized transfers, incapable guide - ** reposting my review because this company actually deleted the Viator excursion after my 2-star review ** Unfortunately I cannot recommend this excursion for this price. At half the price, maybe it would make sense. I strongly urge you to pick another one, and avoid any run by Cupid Travel Agency. I’ve had great experiences in Egypt with other agencies. I just got off the cruise a couple days ago. The ship was unpleasant, and all the pickup logistics were extremely confusing & with constant changes. The guide charged us for things that should have been included (eg horse carriage ride), and also split his tour between Arabic and English so everything was rushed. The ship itself - though described as 5* - is extremely dated, probably 15 years old. You can look up “Semiramis” online and see real reviews with pics to illustrate how dirty and old it is. The food & service was decent though. All transfers (car pick up, drop off etc) involved at least 4 phone calls with people to explain the same things. We’d interact with 3 different staff members who gave us conflicting pickup times. The way they organised transfers was unreliable and inefficient. I would have been better off arranging all transfers myself. Finally, the guide was not helpful at all but still insisted on a tip. He also collected fees from us on what was supposed to have been included in this booking.
