Journey to the High Dam, recognized as Africa’s largest rockfill dam, which was constructed with assistance from the USSR in 1960. This all comes with the guidance of a knowledgeable Egyptologist and a motorboat ride on the Nubian lake where the temple was transferred to.

Unmatched Views and Interesting History - The views of the old dam and the new dam are wonderful. The boat ride to Philae temple was serene too. The temple is majestic and our guide Mr. Elayra was also very knowledgeable and fun person.

Amazing tour! - Thanks to our driver Hany (who drove us for the trip to Abu Simbel) who contacted the company to book for us the tour, we managed to visit the temple with our guide Aida. She was so nice to us, she knew everything about the temple and and answered all of our questions ( and they were a lot). Strongly recommend!

Fantastic well spoken guide - Michael is a fantastic and enthusiastic guide. We booked a second tour thru a Egypt est travel to see the Nubian village as we were so impressed with him and his knowledge of Egypt. His English is flawless (he is an ex English teacher).

Best Aswan tour - It was an absolute joy to spend a few hours with michael. We visited the high dam, Philea temple, and Nubian village. Not only is michael a flexible and friendly person, his knowledge of Egyptian history is off the charts. He is an encyclopedia. Awesome man and awesome tour. Definitely recommend.

Must use! - Excellent service and excellent tour guide. Micheal was our tour guide and his English was fantastic. He was also very funny and incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian and Nubian history. We wished we could have changed all our future tours that were already booked to him. He also kept both my teenage boys highly engaged with his history knowledge.
