Additional Information
The stone quarries that provided the ancient Egyptians with the majority of the sturdy material for the construction of pyramids and temples. The quarries still house the Unfinished Obelisk, which might have been a counterpart to the Lateran Obelisk, first positioned in Karnak but now located in Rome. With a weight exceeding 1,100 tons, it would have been the heaviest piece of rock ever manipulated.
The Temple of Philae situated on Agilka Island, the temple was devoted to Isis, the sibling/spouse of Osiris, and the patron of the Ptolemaic rule.

Wonderful - Excellent service with this company! Booked my tours with Isaac and everything went very smoothly! He checked to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything. Also, my tour guide Osama was the best! I highly recommend this service!

Highly recommended - Third temple I visited but first time to understand that temples have sections e.g. main court, 2nd court, vestibule, sanctuary. This is a highly recommended trio. Beshoy, my guide was awesome

Fun fabulous day - We very much enjoyed this day. Our tour guide Bob was knowledgeable and friendly, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time.
