Excellent service and lovely person - We had a wonderful time with Basma as our guide, visiting the tombs of the nobles, and Philae temple. Basma was very attentive to our needs and an excellent story teller. Her explanations really gave meaning to our experience of these ancient places, and she organised all the transport (including by felucca) meaning we could get from place to place seamlessly. As a bonus, Basma was able to find a last minute cruise for us, negotiating a great price - we are so grateful for our experience with Tanora.
If you’re hesitating whether or not to get a guide, I would say Tanora tours makes it worth it.

Amazing day in Aswan - We had an amazing tour with Basma of the Tombs of the Nobles and Philae Temple. The experience was seamless with all our boat and van transfers organised in advance and Basma even provided some food and water. Most impressive of all was Basma’s knowledge of Aswan’s history and mythology and the way she shared these stories as we visited the monuments. Will be contacting Basma for all our Egypt tour needs and recommending Tanora to friends and family.
