Excellent formula for an authentic experience - I had a great experience on my overnight trip to Feluque with JJ Jamaica. The service, the meals the cleanliness of the boat. Everything was spotless. Thanks to Abel Bouda who arranged this trip on the Nile, as well as my private car ride to Abu Simbel. Impeccable

An unforgettable experience - One of the best experiences we could do in Egypt. Chaki and Ahmed are outstanding captains. They have a multitude of places to offer to stop and enjoy the majestic banks of the Nile. They are really adorable. Ahmed cooks particularly well and Chaki is always there to give us a smile. If you like relaxation, calm and fullness, go for it! Unfortunately, we didn't have time for more than one night, but if time allowed, we would have gladly spent more time with them. An unforgettable experience!

A magical trip up the magnificent Nile - My husband and I had a wonderful three nights last week sailing from Aswan to near Edfu, looked after beautifully by a fantastic, highly skilled, three-man crew. Our captain was Mido, who was also a great cook and - as we discovered on the third night - a talented musician too! His colleagues Abdullah and Mahmoud were equally lovely company. We simply sat in the shade for hours, watching the river, listening to the birds, the waves and the wind, as the beautiful boat tacked its way backwards and forwards. Mindfulness in action! We stopped several times, both at quiet islands in the river and to see big sights such a Kom Umbu temple. The crew chose quiet moorings each night, where we slept happily on the cushioned deck in our mosquito net tents, occasionally waking to a golden crescent moon or the sun rising over the glistening water. Blankets and cushions were provided too, although I also appreciated the cotton sleeping bag I brought with me. This isn't luxury travel, but that isn't the point: the point is to get some understanding of the life of this extraordinary river and for once to stop, listen and learn a little more about a country very different from ours. It was a privilege we'll never forget.

Egypt highlight - We did a 2 night trip down the Nile on the Felucca and it was amazing! For our daughters aged 10 and 12 it was a highlight of our Egypt trip. Our guide/captain/cook, Tarik and Seniman were awesome. They were both absolutely lovely people who made the trip easy and relaxing. The Food was delicious, the boat was comfortable and overall the experience was even more amazing than we anticipated. I would highly recommend this trip. It was an authentic Egyptian experience that topped off an epic family trip to Egypt.

Fullness on the Nile - Great experience. Really peaceful and out of time. We had Captain Tarik who was very attentive and always very involved to have a good time. The food cooked by Souleman was really tasty. Finally, the boat was beautiful and kept really clean. One of the most beautiful experiences of our trip!

GREAT experience! - We spent one day and one night on the Felucca, sailing down the Nile with the very kind and experienced captains Miloub and Abdul. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt! No noisy motor, just the rhythm of the wind and the Nile. We stopped at a beach to take a dip in the river just when it started to get a bit hot in the afternoon - perfect! The food was delicious as well. We stopped for the night at a very quiet spot and slept like babies under the mosquito nets. Don't hesitate to book this trip, you won't regret it! We also had booked some transfers and a guide to the temple of the kings through the same company. The overall experience was good even though our drivers had two delays for the pickups of 30-60 minutes.

Magical trip - highly recommend - Very nice trip with Yusri who cooked very tasty meals and Shaggy the captain who sailed in such a quiet and professional way! Perfect to unwind and relax! As said before, it is such a treat to sail quietly in a private boat as a family instead of beeing in a huge boat which makes so much noise! The food was delicious and we could eat everything without getting sick. Also the small bathroom was kept very clean during our trip. We were lucky with quite a lot of wind. It seems, that with a lot of wind, the boat sails back to almost Aswan which was a surprise to us but fine. Sometimes a bit noisy during the night (train, cruize ships, dogs…) especially close to Aswan. Bring along cotton sleeping bags, binoculars and wet towels to clean if you dont want to swim in the Nile.

An amazing & relaxing Nile experience - We booked a 2 day 1 night Felucca Adventure from Aswan to Kom Ombo and loved every part of it! We booked it and opened it for other tourists to join, but in the end we were just with the 2 of us and the crew, and I wouldn't have want it any other way. Our captain Tarek and sailor/chef Suleiman were an amazing duo. Both were friendly, with Captain Tarek being clearly well-experienced, and Suleiman being a great cook! It was a delightful way to have a relaxing Nile experience, without having to choose for a cruise. Reading, writing, watching, swimming and enjoying the lunches, fruit salads and dinner. Lovely. We were very lucky with the wind, so we arrived close to Kom Ombo by the first night, visited the Kom Ombo temple in the morning and then, as proposed by Tarek, sailed back to Aswan to catch our train (the initial plan was to catch it at Kom Ombo, but Aswan worked as well and allowed us to have extra sailing time). An amazing experience that I 100% recommend!

great sailing experience, with amazing food - great 3-night trip with 2 amazing boatsmen: Ahmed and Walid. The Feluca is definitely the best way to travel on the Nile, even though the distance done is limited. A real sailing experience. Cooking on the boat was also great. The only small point of criticism is that we were told we would go till Edfu, wind permitting. Yet we learned that we would only go till the stone quarry (Silsilla), and that this is the same for all trips, whatever the and conditions . Silsilla is still 45 km from Edfu, > an hour driving by car. But in any case, this trip was definitely the greatest part of our Egypt holiday
