We only participated in hiking yet David was a very excellent tour guide who knew an abundance of information about the history of trails, type of vegetation growing in the surrounding area and of course extremely knowledgeable of the locations of some of the most beautiful waterfalls North Carolina has to offer. Provided complimentary water and snacks to enjoy during the advantage. I would highly recommend a full day if you are contemplating between a half of of a day or full on due to the fact of how fun getting to some of the locationsare. Some of those said locations will require a little leg work and a little patience since you will be so eager to see nature’s beauty but it is all worth it once you reach water. We had the most exciting and informative day with David. The waterfalls were breathtaking and well worth the short hikes to them. One day I will be back for the full day hike.

The guide (David) was very knowledgeable and friendly, he knew a lot about the area where we hiked and the surrounding area. We got to experience several different water falls on our hike. David advised that he keeps track of the various water falls in the area to make sure the ones he takes you to have a good flow for the best experience. David did not take us to the more crowded falls so we got to really enjoy the hike through nature and the falls without a lot of other people around. After the hike David drove us down the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway on the way back which is a slightly longer drive but was really neat and a very nice touch to finish off the journey. Highly recommend this experience.

My friend and I loved this hike with David. I don't think we would have been able to find the waterfalls without his guidance. Door to door, it was an easy experience and a great way to be in nature, with his knowledge.
