Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - The journey to Tarangire NP includes a full day of game driving with a delightful picnic lunch. The park is characterized by its natural vegetation, primarily Acacia woodland and majestic African Baobab trees, along with expansive swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, the river and swamps attract a multitude of wild animals. Tarangire National Park is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds.
This remarkable African National Park is also a sanctuary for three rare animal species - the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the journey continues towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, the adventure descends into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its vast plains stretching endlessly into the horizon.
The destination is the central park area, known as the Seronera area, which is one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats. The Seronera River provides a crucial water source, attracting a diverse array of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before departing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive along the way.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - Post-breakfast, descend into the crater for an exciting game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas globally, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
With a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the crater supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this stunning national park is its large population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.
