Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following a brief safari orientation, the journey begins towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, the adventure descends into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - where endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see.

The route leads to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, renowned for its rich wildlife habitats. The Seronera River, a vital water source, attracts a diverse array of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. Arrival is in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Full Day Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the park, with lunch at the lodge or campsite.

The park’s vast plains are home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, the wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and many more. Additionally, a variety of birds enhance the park with their diverse sounds.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, travel to Ngorongoro, descend into the crater, and enjoy a game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas globally, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.

With a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the crater supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. A major attraction of this picturesque national park is its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.

In the late afternoon, return to Arusha.
