After breakfast, the operator will pick you up from your hotel and drive you along a picturesque route to Tarangire Game Parks. The park’s beauty offers an unmatched game viewing experience, especially during the dry season when elephants are plentiful. Families of elephants roam among the ancient trunks of baobab trees and strip acacia bark from thorn trees. The breathtaking views of the Masai steppe and mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a truly memorable experience. Visitors can see herds of elephants, zebras, buffalo, and oryxes migrating from Masai to Tarangire in search of water. A few lions also prowl the area, seeking unsuspecting prey in the jungle. Tarangire National Park boasts more breeding bird species than anywhere else on Earth. Later in the evening, guests will drive to the recommended Farm of Dreams Lodge or Marera Valley.

Tarangire - Ngorongoro - Arusha Town

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - 3 hrs 20min, 172.9km
After enjoying the aroma of early morning coffee, all senses will be engaged in the thrill of a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an estimated 7,000 wildebeest, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland, 3,000 gazelles, 600 hyenas, 200-300 elephants, over 60 lions, 30 rhinos, and many other species. In total, over 25,000 wild animals inhabit the crater. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted to find 500 bird species, including ostriches, kori bustards, and secretary birds. From November to April, visitors can witness a variety of migratory birds that reside here. Indigenous tribes are allowed to live in the conservation area, and local Masai graze their livestock on the crater floor in harmony with nearby herds of buffalo and wildebeest. This two-day tour ensures nothing is left unseen. Later, guests will return to Arusha with plenty of stories to share.
