This tour is hosted by the creators of a local non-profit organization. Our institution’s objective is to transform our community by offering education and essential facilities to children in need, empowering females, and enlightening the young generation. All the proceeds from this tour go directly to the organization – be a part of this excursion and make a difference!

We will meet in front of the Maasai Market Curios and Crafts and continue walking from there. The market is a popular tourist destination in Arusha and known to most drivers and guides.

Experience everyday life in Arusha. - Interesting tour to see places in Arusha that you would never see as a tourist. Here you can see daily life away from safari tours and climbing Kiloli.

We hihgly recommend it! - Walking tour was exellent!
We get a chance to see Arusha in view of the local people which was intresting and eye opening experience.
Also guides were extremely professional and nice. We felt safe and comfortable all times with them.

Impressive experience - This tour is a great opportunity to discover Arusha and its neighbourhoods besides the touristic areas. The guides were very knowledgeable and showed us around in areas that we would not have visited on our own. Nevertheless, we felt safe and welcomed by everyone all of the time and enjoyed the food served. For us it was an impressive possibility to learn about food, culture and everyday life of the local people. Also we appreciated that the guides arranged our transfer back to the hotel.

Discover a local community with locals! - Jackson and Given were great at showing me around the neighborhood, they shared lots of interesting information and were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the foodie treats along our walk and am grateful to them for showing me a side of Arusha that I wouldn’t have ventured on my own. They kindly helped me organize a taxi and waited for me whilst I did some last minute shopping at the market.
