Ngorongoro Crater - Depart in the morning with a picnic lunch, spending most of the day game driving on the crater floor. The crater, dotted with watering holes, is home to nearly 30,000 animals, naturally enclosed by the volcano’s slopes. Covering 259 sq. km and standing at 2236m above sea level, it is considered one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Spend the day exploring the caldera with a picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs, then drive to Karatu in the late afternoon.
