Exceptional Service and Value - Our experience with Altezza for the 7-day Lemosho route to Kilimanjaro and a 4-day safari was exceptional. From the beginning of the trip planning process to our final transport to Kilimanjaro Airport, Altezza provided a level of service that far exceeded our expectations. This was a trip of a lifetime and would not have been possible without Altezza.

Incredible trip from the beginning to the end - shout out to Alfina and Carlos - Altezza is very professional and should be considered to be one of the best safari agents I Tanzania. Before the trip, Alfina planned and customized our itinerary smartly according to our wish-to-see and budget, offering so many useful information and alternative options. The communication was quick efficient and pleasant.
Carlos is a very knowledgeable and professional safari guide, with great driving skills ofc!! He’s been taking care of us so well during the while trip, not only answering questions and giving info about the animals, but also being considerate and keeping the vibe good :)
Very grateful that Altezza organized this trip so perfectly. 100000% recommend! If we come back to safari again in the future, this is still gonna be our top choice

Unforgettable Safari with Altezza – Thanks to Cathbert - While the natural beaty and wildlife sightings where absolutely stunning, what truly elevate our experience to the next level was our incredible guide and driver, Mr Cathbert.
From the very beginning, Cathbert showed and exceptional level of professionalism, Attentiveness and empathy not only towards us but also towards the wildlife and other visitors we encountered along the way. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our journey was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. His knowledge of the parks, animals and local culture was impressive, and he always knew the perfect moment and place to stop for the best view or photo.
We felt safe, seen and incredible well taken care of at all times. We truly believe we couldn't have aske for a better representative of Altezza to guide us through this experience.
Thanks to Altezza and specially to Cathbert our safari was unmatchable.

Altezza Safaris are the Greatest - Our Altezza Guide Khalid was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver. Visiting 3 parks Khalid worked tirelessly to get us near so many wild animals. We were absolutely amazed by all the beautiful animals and will never go to a zoo again.

Exceptional company! - This was our second time booking with Altezza. Our first time was last June when we climbed Kilimanjaro and our experience with the team and company was so amazing that we booked a family trip for a Safari. From the beginning to the very end, every team member was exceptional! Our driver, and now dear friend, Antoni made a profound impression on us the first time and we asked for him to to be a part of our second trip and he was there to pick us up from the airport! It was so amazing to see him again. Every team member has your best interest in mind and will work to their fullest potential to make your trip memorable! So memorable that you will want to go back like we did!

awesome 10/10 experience - Altezza did a fantastic job! Communication was always fast and they worked with us at the last minute to change accommodations and made sure everything ran smoothly. After booking the trip, Altezza took care of everything -- accommodations, transportation, and meals were all great. Our safari guide Anold was fantastic and I would highly recommend that you request him! We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Amazing Safari!! - Our trip with Altezza travel was nothing short of perfect. We were picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and from then on we were treated with the best experience imaginable. We were transfered to the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha for a night which is a very nice place. Our guide, Anold picked us up the next morning for our Safari. He was very knowledgeable and could speak a few languages. He was able to show us all the animals we wanted to see plus thousands of others! We stayed one night in Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge and then two more nights at the Sound of Silence Tented Lodge. They both had great food, atmosphere, and especially great people taking care of us. I wish we could have stayed a couple more nights at Sound of Silence. It was fascinating to listen to the animals at night and we even had an elephant in our "backyard" one morning. I would recommend Altezza for a Safari. We will definitely do this again!

Views of a lifetime, the bumpy ride is free of charge! - Our group of four added on these safari days as recovery from our Kilimanjaro climb with Altezza (Lemosho 7-day, reviewed separately). It was so nice to have the same company arrange the seamless transition from our hike to the safari.
The logistics for the safari days were just as impressive and smooth as the hiking. Ebenezer picked us up at Aishi-Machame hotel (our start-end point for the hike) and drove us safely to Arusha; the Grand Melia hotel (and the massage spa!) was wonderfully comfortable after the week on the mountain. It was convenient to have the same driver, Humphrey, for our multiple safari days. We had some long days on the road, but he kept us as safe and comfortable as possible with our many hours of "African massage." We saw a wonderful variety of wildlife across the three park areas. The lodging locations were interesting, wonderfully remote, and meals were very good. We had very filling box lunches from the hotels (put the sandwiches in the cooler first thing!) I could have stayed at Karibu/ Sametu for much longer! Because we ended in Arusha, it was handy to be able to store luggage at the Grand Melia to save carrying around our heavy hiking gear during our safari days.
The balloon ride with Miracle Experience was a wonderful suggestion by Maria, a spectacular experience, and well worth the extra cost. I recommend verifying your balloon reservation 1-2 days ahead - our pickup was the wrong hotel, but quickly fixed. We were picked up early in the morning as planned and all coordination went smoothly. The company was very well organized with clear information to keep it a safe and memorable experience. The meal in the bush after the ride was nicely set up, delicious, and added to the whole experience.
To save time and many hours on the bumpy roads, we took a small plane from the Karibu Seronera airstrip in the Serengeti back to Arusha. The cost was reasonable and made the last morning in the bush more relaxing - we even saw three lions on the way to the little airport.
If you are in Tanzania for the Kilimanjaro hike, I highly recommend adding on four days in the safari parks.

Altezza Guide Allan did not disappoint! - My adult son, his finance, and I just returned from our trip to Africa. The four-day Tanzania safari blew us away! Altezza does a masterful job with the logistics. From airport transfers to meals to lodging to park entrance fees, Altezza creates a fluid process. Our guide, Allan, was clearly a subject matter expert. Allan had a vast knowledge of not only the animals we encountered but also of the geography and habitats of the animals were observed. We were very fortunate to see a wide range of animals (including the so-called "Big 5") as well as the beauty of Tanzania. The safari was clearly an experience of a lifetime for us. Many thanks to Altezza and Allan for making this dream a reality for us!

The most incredible experience - We have had the most amazing time on safari! Cathbert was an amazing tour guide and I would recommend Altezza and especially catherbert to everyone else.
Altezza booked everything for us and kept in regular contact, I was in contact with them via WhatsApp and any questions I had they would come back with a really quick response and if they weren’t sure they would make sure they find out and get back to me
Our tour guide Cathbert for safari was so knowledgeable and gave us information about all animals we saw, any question we had he was able to answer. He put all of his effort into making sure we saw all of the animals. Within the first 2 days we saw the big five! His eye sight is amazing and without having catherbert as our driver we would have missed some of the animals that were a little further away. Catherbert was very approachable and has a great sense of humour which really made our experience
