Arrival and First Impressions

As I stepped off the plane in Arusha, the anticipation of another African adventure coursed through my veins. This time, I was here to experience the Tanzania Safari with Suricata Safaris, a name that had been whispered in reverent tones among fellow wildlife enthusiasts. The moment I arrived at my hotel, I was greeted by Daniel, a member of the Suricata team, whose warm smile and professional demeanor immediately set the tone for the days to come.

Hot showers, a café serving ice cream and chocolate, and the culinary delights prepared by Chef Mr. James were unexpected luxuries. Each meal was a testament to his skill, bursting with flavor and freshness, a delightful surprise in the heart of the wilderness.

A Night Under the Stars

As night fell, the Serengeti transformed into a realm of magic and wonder. Zebras and water buffalo wandered near our campsite, their silhouettes ghostly in the moonlight. The night sky, unpolluted by city lights, revealed a tapestry of stars so dense and brilliant it took my breath away. It was a humbling reminder of the vastness of the universe and our small place within it.

The camaraderie among our group, fostered by Rasta Man’s warmth and humor, turned strangers into friends.
