Magic 9 Day Safari: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Natron. Perfect organization and unforgettable memories! - We had the chance to live a complete and varied 9-day safari with Chalema Tanzania Safaris. The itinerary was perfectly organized by Joel the boss, combining different parks and landscapes that Haruna introduced us to our super guide and driver:
Tarangire: first immersion with its majestic elephants and baobabs.
Ngorongoro Crater: a magical day in this unique site, rich in wildlife.
Serengeti (Centre, South and North, Mara River): several days in the heart of the infinite plains, observation of the great migration and big cats.
Lake Natron: impressive volcanic landscapes, hikes to waterfalls and lake, with a Maasai guide.
In all, we crossed 4 major parks and spent full days on safari, with a perfect balance between wildlife discovery, cultural immersion and relaxation in comfortable lodges.
The organization was flawless: Warm Welcoming, careful and passionate competent Francophone driver-guide, varied and always well chosen accommodation. Every day was a new surprise and we leave with exceptional memories.
We highly recommend this experience for anyone who dreams of an authentic and well-supervised safari in Tanzania!

Unforgettable safari - After 1 week of Safari across the country and up to the Kenyan border, we were able to observe ALL possible and imaginable animals in their natural state and understand the interactions between the different species.
An excellent tent safari that will captivate you in the heart of these wild places in the company of an exceptional guide and a top cook! We had excellent meals prepared mornings, noon & evenings.
A big thank you to Joel who organized everything and was very responsive to our requests, I highly recommend!

Excellent safari avec Harouna - We did a 7-day tour with Harouna - our Guide - who was on the one hand very professional and on the other hand attentive to make it the best possible experience for us. The whole preparation phase went very well, it was always responsive and pleasant. We highly recommend the duo Joël- Harouna.

Exceptional - We thank you and your team for this unforgettable safari 💕between girls 💕.
We really appreciated Georges the guide and all the kitchen staff. We ate very, very well!! And the taste of fruits and vegetables is a killer taste!!
We met wonderful people throughout our safari.
We were also able to visit an orphanage with whom we remained in contact with the aim of providing them with help.
We also visited a school and realized the difficulties it encounters in carrying out the children's education. That the means were not sufficient...
I hope that you will continue to offer more of this type of visit in order to raise awareness among tourists and also to collect donations.
We really liked the local meals taken in the villages 💕it was an exceptional moment. We plan to relive unforgettable experiences.

In any case, we enjoyed this stay with Chalema. We recommend you and we want to come back to do the other parks.

Carry out your private Safari, 6 days in a tent Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro - Joël who speaks French very well and is very responsive to email responses. Precise and detailed program of the Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro safari. I am welcomed at the airport with Chaban, a French-speaking driver guide, safe driving with a comfortable 4x4 vehicle, opening roof for better visibility, socket for recharging batteries! The confidence building is immediate, smiling, attentive, respectful, no stress, Jackson the cook will prove to be a real chef in terms of presentation and diversity from breakfast to lunch taking place in a picnic area and again a real meal Not sandwiches and even a bottle of wine! First camp with a view of Lake Manyara, clean, welcoming, secure, swimming pool. Second camp in the heart of the Serengeti Park for an unforgettable experience, Lions, lionesses, lion cubs, leopard near the car, cheetah and her cub, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hyenas, jackal, hippos, antelopes, monkeys...! !!

The safari of our lives! -
Thanks to Joel, the dynamic and friendly director of Chalema Tanzania safaris who organized, for us and our children, the most beautiful trip of our lives.
Everything was perfect, from the choice of parks to visit, the lodges, each more comfortable than the last, the delicious meals...
Joel is very experienced and he knows his country better than anyone. He advised us perfectly.
We had the wonderful Chabani as a guide/driver who allowed us, thanks to his experience, to see all the possible animals including the famous Big Five.
We strongly encourage you to contact Joel if you have a safari planned, you will be delighted!
He has good prices and will help you discover this wonderful country and these kind people in the best conditions.

Wonderful experience - Best destination ever! go for it !
My fiancé and I have visited Tanzania in August. We have been recommended Shalema agency by a friend from our country.
We had a 6 days safari all included with Aruna, our guide and companion during the trip. We have visited the northern part of Tanzania, slept in tents and drove many km to see the big 5. We were so lucky to have Aruna as our guide, as he was patient, welcoming and always ready to go above and beyond for us to get to see our favorite animals which were sometimes hidden far in the savanah.
We felt safe and taken care of along the trip. The agency shared some important information about the clothing to wear, the budget for tips and many other facts about the country. The overall price was absolutely worth it.
A memory for a lifetime.

The dream safari - Going on safari is unique and risky. Will we get what we expected? With the Chalema team, everything is easy! We were pampered from the airport (with flight schedules however capricious) to the airport. Joël put together a dream safari for us with hotel stops that lived up to our dreams (magic of the tent room in the heart of the Serengeti) and our guide Praygod explained everything to us, guided us to the best viewpoints throughout the trip. journey. Magical, exceptional, the trip of a lifetime! - The trip of a lifetime! Chalema is a human-sized agency managed by Joel who is hyper available and very responsive on practical messages before departure. This is very reassuring!
We had Chabane as a guide who is very serious, a very good driver, very careful on African roads. All accommodations were exceptional. We had balanced meals prepared by the lodges every lunchtime (no lunch box here like most agencies). We had an exceptional and unforgettable experience. The hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti will remain a magical moment for me ❤️ thank you for everything Joel! ☺️
