Ngorongoro Crater - Ngorongoro Conservation Area is located in northern Tanzania. It features the expansive, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the “big 5” game animals (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Massive herds of wildebeests and zebras cross its plains during their annual migration. Livestock owned by the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils discovered in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.

Tarangire National Park - Tarangire National Park is situated in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. The park’s name is derived from the Tarangire River that flows through it. The Tarangire River is the main source of fresh water for wildlife in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.

In 1957, Lake Manyara was designated as a game reserve, and it gained National Park status in 1960. In 1974, around 1,400 acres were appended to its southern part. The majority of the park’s terrain is a thin strip wedged between the Gregory Rift wall on the west, and the alkaline Lake Manyara to its east.
Ngorongoro Crater
As a part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Crater, recognized as one of the three natural UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Tanzania, is a remains of a massive volcano that imploded into itself following a colossal eruption between 2 and 3 million years ago.
Tarangire National Park
The park got its name from the Tarangire River that traverses it, acting as a primary fresh water source for wild animals during the yearly dry season. The Ecosystem is characterized by the movement of wildebeest and zebras over a long distance. During the dry season, thousands of animals gather in Tarangire National Park from the adjacent wet-season spread and birthing areas.
