Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - Home to elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and some of Africa’s largest baboon troops.

This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and hosts one of Africa’s largest populations of waterbirds, with over 400 species including flamingos and pelicans. Dramatically situated, Lake Manyara National Park features a vast, shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The diverse habitats attract a wide range of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, the renowned tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.

Ngorongoro Crater
