Lake Manyara - Following breakfast, the tour sets off. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute shopping before embarking on the safari. The journey then continues to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park boasts stunning vistas and a diverse range of habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-dotted cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This diversity allows the small park to support a wide array of animal species and remarkable birdlife. Manyara is home to the world’s largest concentration of baboons, and its lions are famous for their tree-climbing abilities.
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, the tour descends over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. With a year-round water supply and ample fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area sustains a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this scenic national park is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. The tour will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here. In the late afternoon, there is a transfer to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay or airport drop-off.
