Arrival - Arusha

Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, be warmly welcomed by a representative from the Airport office. They will assist with any visa or passport control matters. Afterward, enjoy refreshments at our office, where you will meet your guide before being transferred to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Arusha is a vibrant city in Tanzania, East Africa, nestled at the base of the volcanic Mt. Meru. It serves as a gateway to safari destinations and Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro, which stands at 5,895 meters and is located approximately 100 kilometers to the northeast.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast and a brief safari orientation, depart from Arusha and journey to Tarangire National Park. Delight in a full day of game viewing in this stunning, less-crowded park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park at midday. Continue your game drive in the afternoon, and later in the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Begin your day with a guided walking safari in the park after breakfast, accompanied by an armed ranger. This offers a unique opportunity to experience Tarangire on foot, observing wildlife, footprints, and landscapes up close.

After the walk, embark on a full-day game drive across the park. Tarangire is home to impressive elephant herds, dry riverbeds, and excellent sightings of various wildlife species, including oryx, gerenuk, and predators thriving in this rich ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue your afternoon safari before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a day’s game drive. Explore the park’s rich ecosystems, ranging from dense groundwater forests to open floodplains and lake shores, which are home to a remarkable variety of wildlife.

Manyara is known for its diverse birdlife, with over 400 different species, as well as the famous tree-climbing lions and large elephant populations. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then continue with afternoon game viewing. In the evening, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Shortly after breakfast, depart from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park, entering the central region of Seronera. Enjoy a game drive en route as you travel across the vast plains, keeping an eye out for the park’s incredible wildlife.

Seronera is one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the Serengeti, known for frequent sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, and many other species. After a picnic lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive as you explore the heart of this iconic park.

Later in the evening, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then set out on a full-day game drive to the central Serengeti. This area is one of the best for viewing the Great Migration herds as they move across the plains, accompanied by predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Spend the morning exploring the vast landscapes and wildlife-rich valleys of Seronera. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at midday before continuing your afternoon game drive in search of the migration, big cats, and other iconic Serengeti wildlife.

Return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the evening.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Have breakfast at the lodge or camp and proceed for a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. Today, explore different parts of the park in search of big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and other wildlife that make this ecosystem so exceptional.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and then head out on a continued afternoon game drive, venturing through endless plains, acacia woodlands, and the teeming wildlife of the Serengeti. Return to your lodge or camp in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Eyasi

Lake Eyasi - Start the day with an early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The enclosed ecosystem of the crater offers fantastic game viewing, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and a variety of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint inside the crater before continuing your game drive.

In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and head to Lake Eyasi for dinner and an overnight stay after checking into your lodge.

Bushmen Visit - Departure

Lake Eyasi - After breakfast, visit the Datoga and Bushmen tribes, participating in hunting activities. Return to the lodge for lunch, then depart after lunch and drive back to Arusha for a drop-off at the airport.

Small groups of Hadzabe bushmen reside around Lake Eyasi. Their language resembles the click languages of other bushmen further south in the Kalahari. Their small population faced significant threats, particularly during the period when Julius Nyerere attempted to introduce his Ujamaa policy.
