Arugam Bay - Arugam Bay is a bay situated on the Indian Ocean in the dry zone of Sri Lanka’s southeast coast. The bay is located 320 km due east of Colombo. It is a popular surfing and tourist destination.

Embark on a journey from Colombo to Arugambay, making your way through Balangoda, Monaragala, and Lahugala. Pause for a morning meal on the way and make a stop at Diyaluma falls. Next, head to Buttala to take in the sight of the Maligawila Buddha statue, standing 34 feet tall and sculpted out of crystalline limestone, grandly positioned on a lotus pedestal. Afterward, make your way to Monaragala for an afternoon meal. Post lunch, carry on your journey, passing Lahugala National Park, known for its lush population of wild elephants. Then, head to your Arugam Bay hotel for a restful night. The following day, greet the day with the beautiful sunrise on the eastern coastline at Arugambay Beach. Post morning meal, enjoy a day of leisure at the same beach. When time permits, take a visit to Kumana National Park. As evening falls, return to your hotel for another night’s stay in Arugam Bay. On the next day, post breakfast, take off for Colombo via Pottuvil. Pay a visit to Muhudu Maha Viharaya in Pottuvil. Have lunch in BelihulOya. After lunch, we escort you back to Colombo where we conclude the journey with drop-offs at the determined hotels.
