Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Aruba - You won't want to miss this! - This snorkeling trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Aruba! The captain was fun and engaging, while ensuring we were all safe. We initially thought 3 hours on the water might be too long, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. The boat made two stops for those of us who wanted to snorkel - one being a shipwreck - that we could explore. The open bar and snacks were also enjoyable. We also appreciated that we could cancel if our plans changed. (So happy we didn't have to, as it was the perfect way to spend the day.)

Try Snuba! - We did snuba over the shipwreck. So worth the extra $$. Our guide was great- so reassuring for my daughter and me who were both first timers. We saw sooo much. Amazon fish and swam right next to the ship 20 ft. Below the surface. The whole experience was great, but SNUBA was fantastic.

Fantastic tour from start to finish - All aspects of Palm Pleasure Afternoon Delight were positive from hotel pickup, transportation, interaction with the crew, refreshments offered, to the condition of the catamaran and equipment. My husband and I are both nearsighted and were thrilled to be supplied with corrective goggles. The staff goes above and beyond to provide a fantastic snorkeling experience.

A fun afternoon on the water! - We arrived Aruba by cruise ship. Taxied to Marriott. Picked up by DePalm tours to the boat. The captain and crew were focused on safety, patient for first time snorkelers. Some of my friends don’t snorkel, and we enjoyed dancing to the music while drinking Aruba Aruba (punch) and local beer. Snacks provided too. We had an AMAZING time!

Fun excursion for family - We booked the Palm Pleasure Afternoon Delight snorkeling trip as a cruise excursion for our family of 4 (two teen girls). We spent the morning at Eagle Beach and flagged down a taxi from the Coco Loco area. He took us straight to De Palm Pier for about $12. De Palm will pick you up if you provide a location, though. Check-in was easy and we boarded our catamaran within 10 mins. They provide all your snorkel items but we brought most of our own. Their afternoon excursion is only 2 stops: a shipwreck and a more shallow reef area. Both had cool stuff to look at. The water felt a bit chilly to me and the seas are choppy once out in the ocean so it can be a bit stressful. There are other boats around as well, but all captains are very mindful of swimmers. I only made it about 10 mins in the water but they give you about 30-40 mins at each location. I forget our captain’s name but he was happy, energetic, and wanted everyone to have a great time. His staff was great too. They provided drinks and an afternoon snack of hot dogs or sandwiches. Not a 5-star meal but totally adequate. The best part I thought was laying on the rope area in the front of the boat on the way back to the pier. He went slowish so it was really delightful relaxing in the sun with the wind. Lots to see as Aruba is a beautiful island. One thing I wish they had was a rope swing like some of the other boats, but my kids had fun jumping off the side. Once off the boat we walked to the road and the shuttle took us back to the cruise terminal for free. Overall great afternoon and I recommend this excursion. **One thing to note when booking a De Palm excursion (or any excursion) if you’re cruising is the time. Our Royal Caribbean ship opened up the gangway at 8:30 am CRUISE TIME which was EST bc we left from Florida. Aruba is an hour ahead so it was already 9:30am. So if you are wanting to book a snorkeling excursion, you will not make a 9am excursion. You might not even make a 10am excursion. Stick to afternoon ones and be mindful of the time.

Snorkeling with Palm Pleasure - Crew was great. My son and husband enjoyed their snubs experience. Lunch was less than desirable. One slice of meat with a piece of lettuce on a roll and hot dogs. Could have been better.
