A fun way to see beautiful Mornington Peninsula! - If you’re heading to the Mornington Peninsula, an e-mountain bike tour with Red Hill Trail Tours is an absolute must. Not only do you get the thrill of riding through beautiful wooded trails, you get an excellent tour of the area with the owner, Chris, or his son as your guide. After realizing that we were not experienced enough for the intermediate trails, Chris effortlessly transitioned us onto the beginner trails, where we stopped occasionally to take in beautiful vistas and also at a local café, where he treated us to coffee to warm us up from the cold rain. The e-bikes were high quality, comfortable and made climbing hills very easy. Chris is a gentleman, has a great sense of humor, and demonstrated a genuine passion both for mountain biking and for the Mornington Peninsula. Highly recommended!

Brilliant activity to do as a group, as a family, solo. All ages and abilities catered for. - Fabulous fabulous bike ride through national park mountain bike trails and then easier roadside trails. Chris was just lovely and so patient and encouraging - especially with our 10 year old who came off a couple of times. Chris tailors the ride to your abilities so any level can enjoy the experience and the electric bikes certainly make uphills a dream !! A little stop for refreshment in the sun was also a lovely unexpected bonus. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend enough! - My wife and I had a really fantastic time on the MTB tour with Red Hill Trail Co. Chris, our guide, couldn't have been more helpful, pleasant, understanding of our wants and abilities and made the whole experience so fun but still challenging. The E-bikes were a dream and made any obstacle an absolute breeze to tackle. Would very highly recommend!

So much fun it should be illegal - If I could, I would rate this business 10 star rating. It was absolutely brilliant! This was one of the best, fun tours we have done in a very long time. Firstly, the bikes were a great quality and Chris and Finn ensured they were the right fit for us both. It’s about 40 years since this old girl has been on a bicycle and I was not only very rusty but a bit nervous too. Finn was a fabulous instructor and tour guide who displayed infinite patience with me each and every time I had trouble starting off ( it was most definitely a confidence issue). From the initiation ride til the end of the tour Finn gave us lots of local information and pointed out all the sights along the way. The tour was both fun and adventurous and saw us on paths, walkways and on some fun, muddy tracks. Be prepared to get a bit dirty. It’s definitely part of the fun. From the outset it was clearly evident that this father and son team were not only passionate about their bikes and the joy of riding but also the client experience. We simply can not recommend this tour highly enough and have done so already. We did the bay to bay tour and covered some really beautiful ground. The scenery was so lovely and we trusted Finn completely. He is a delightful young man and an excellent tour guide. Chris & Finn, we truly hope you both have a hugely successful time with this business. Thank you for making this tour so much fun and for tailoring it to our needs and capabilities. We will definitely come back and tour with you again. Jazz & Jackson MacCotter

Stunning scenery and top notch bikes - My son, 13, and I joined a 3 hour tour today with Chris from Red Hill Trail Co. Chris is an experienced and patient teacher and an engaging tour guide. We really enjoyed his style. My son tried some more advanced trails with Chris who was encouraging with him. It was evident that Chris really understands what makes young men tick (no doubt from raising 2 sons himself, one of whom is his business partner at RHTC). As an inexperience rider, I appreciated Chris’s constant assurances and tips on navigating the trails. He was generous with his local knowledge of the area pointing out epicurean highlights (property/food/wine/coffee) along the way. I know nothing about bikes but my son recognised the brand immediately and we appreciated riding high spec e bikes. The scenery is world class - I think most people would be surprised to find such scenic trails on our doorstep (1 hour from Melbourne). Thanks to Chris for sharing a piece of paradise with us. 5 stars. Do it.

Good fun, lovely countryside, great company! - My husband and I did the guided beginner tour with Finn. We hadn’t ridden bikes for many years and never ebikes. However, with guidance and patience Finn got us through sone great, scenic pathways, stopped at points of interest and had a break over a good coffee.

Great way to see the outdoors - Red Hill We had the best fun cycling around the Peninsula with the Red Hill Trail Co. 😀 The e-bike made everything so much easier. The trail was a great mix of adventure and sight seeing. Lovely to see the kangaroos (one with a joey!), black cockatoos and crimson rosellas along the way. The complimentary hot drink in Red Hill was a treat ☕️ Chris and Finn make a great father and son team and it was nice to support this local business. Finn was an excellent guide on the tour, enthusiastic and patient! So nice to see my old stomping ground in a different light. We look forward to the next time 😊

Family fun - We are a family of 4 and Chris and Finn were incredibly respectful of the groups varying riding abilities. Nothing was too much trouble resulting in Finn taking the more daring teenagers down challenging declines whilst Chris took myself and my younger son a little slower. Loved the quality of the Ebikes and the small touches such as coffee and hot chocolate. The wetter the day the better the mud! Definitely looking to return for another adventure some time soon

Fantastic eBike tour on challenging and fun trails. Finn and Chris were awesome! - I loved my Red Hill Trail Co tour! After calling and speaking with Chris, I decided the OT Tour sounded technical and fun, and right up my ally for the type of riding I like to do. I had ridden at Arthurs Seat a couple of days prior to the tour on a hardtail, so I had an idea of what the trails were like. I met the owners, Finn and his dad Chris, up at the main car park lot at the start. After a quick orientation and set up of my bike, we were off on the fun trails. The bike I rented (Trek Rail) performed flawlessly, and Finn was a fantastic tour guide! I got a little history of the area as well; Buckley’s odds I will NOT book a tour with them again when I return to Melbourne some day! (I hope I said that right :-)).

An epic way to explore a gorgeous natural evironment - Enjoyed an epic day out with Chris and Finn over the weekend. They handled our large group of mates perfectly, none of us with any experience of mountain biking, and we had a blast. Great bikes, stunning environment and they were lovely. I'm hooked!
