The Citadelle Gin Distillery is located at Bonbonnet, 16130 Ars. When you arrive, you'll pass a sign “Château de Bonbonnet, Distillerie Citadelle”, and can park in the parking lot behind it, on the right. Then ring the “Visitor Center” bell at the grey gates opposite the parking lot.

Great couple of hours out. - What a great couple of hours, Emma was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable, the tour is very reasonable priced and was enjoyed by everyone. The gin and glasses we purchased was also very reasonably priced, all in all a great visit and would recommend to anyone.

Couldn’t recommend this more! - Excellent experience! The team at Citadelle couldn’t have been friendlier, more welcoming or more knowledgeable. An incredibly insightful tour with the opportunity to try great gins to round off the tour too. A beautifully presented Chateau both inside and out.

Gin amongst the Cognac Vines - Our guide Emma, was very well informed, we learnt the history.of the Chateau and the vision behind the brand. Opening a Gin Distillery in Cognac country was very risky! We really enjoyed the tour the tasting was brilliant, a variety of flavoured and natural Gins with different mixers. As a staunch Vodka drinker I may now be a convert!! We will be adding this to our regular visits when our guests arrive.

Delicious Citadelle Gin tasting! - What a great experience! We tasted several different gins, each with their own distinct flavor. Very informative and fun. We were able to purchase our favorites after the tasting. Hope to go back!

must-see: discovery of the GIN AU pays du COGNAC - And if in the land of Cognac there was another exceptional alcohol! THE GIN of Bonbonnet Castle! fascinating tour with passionate guides! and SSSS tasting in the end! We will return without hesitation to taste the rums elaborated by this beautiful house

Fascinating introduction to gin distillation - This is truly a behind-the-scenes tour of gin distillation in general and the incredible personal touches behind the Citadel gins. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the process of gin making. She showed us some of the things that make Citadel gin so special, including the on-site juniper trees and citrus fruits, and the meticulous blending methods for some of the amazing special and limited edition gins. Everyone we met who was invovled in the process exuded pride in their work and the gins they were creating. We were able to sample several of delicious gins at the end of the tour, including the Rouge, Jardin d'été and Cornichon (pickle). What a great tour and a peek at how some great gins are made. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic design, atmosphere and GINS! - From juniper bushes to G + T we learned about it all from our knowledgeable and entertaining guide. The care and attention to design detail that you see in the distillery, Orangerie, shop and tasting rooms are reflected in the creativity of the gin blends and diverse range of products. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Great value and an unforgettable experience.

Stunning venue. Amazing Gins. - Our tour started with a visit to see the jumper bushes growing in the field by the chateau which was very special. The aromas of the botanicals in the distillation room were amazing and captured perfectly in their classic gin. The orangerie is stunningly beautiful with a fascinating assortment of citrus trees. Our guide was informative and enthusiastic. The tasting concluded our tour, a great opportunity to sample their fresh and original products. I couldn’t recommend the tour more, enjoyed it enormously.

Just brilliant! - A wonderful tour, full of interesting facts, lead by a knowledgeable guide, finishing with a tasting of the most delicious gins. All the buildings are absolutely stunning. The smell of all the flowers and citrus trees in the orangerie cannot be described. Would highly recommend!
