Our journey begins on the river beach of Areinho, and after traversing 2 km, we approach the 516 Arouca suspension bridge.
After this milestone, we embark on the remaining 6 km, offering a pristine exploration, cradled amidst unique picturesque landscapes in a genuine natural preserve that boasts whitewater rapids, quartz crystals, and species at risk in Europe. The pathway stretches between the river beaches of Areinho and Espiunca while featuring Praia do Vau in the middle.
The expedition is an enigmatic fusion of biology, geology, and archeology bound to etch a permanent place in the heart, soul, and mind of any nature enthusiast. Reflection on our journey culminates in a traditional meal of bifana and vinho verde to satiate our appetite.
