Route 1A. Ulaanbaatar to Arkhangai aimag (North route) (Route)
Operating Schedule: Daily departure at 07:00. Arrival at around 19:00 p.m. of that day.
1. Ulaanbaatar
Departure. The bus departs from the Circus parking. 200 m south from the State Department Store.
2. Урьхан Лүн хоолны газар
Breakfast stop for 30 minutes. Introduction time of Arkhangai aimag.
3. Ugii Lake
Lucn stop for 2.5 hours. This fresh water lake is located at 1332 meters above to sea level and is home to some aquatic birds. Optional boat short trip (admission is paid separately).
4. Gokhturk Museum at Khoshoo Tsaidam
A museum dedicated to the monument of Bilge Khaan - the leader of late Turkic period which is notable for its legacy of human shaped statues found in Mongolian steppes. During the 1.5 hour stop, you can also ride horses, wear traditional Mongolian costumes as well as Mongolian warrior armour for photos.
