- Argostolion - Argostoli has been the capital of the Kefallonia Region since 1757. It is the island’s commercial and administrative centre, and has beautiful neo-classical buildings. It’s a modern city with a remarkable historic and cultural tradition. Argostoli, built amphitheatrically with a view to the Lagoon of Koutavos, overlooks the fir tree-covered Aenos. Viewing Katavothres which is one of the rarest phenomena: large quantities of seawater penetrate the land at the location of Agii Theodori at Lassi without retrogressing, re-appearing by the village of Karavomylos near Sami.

Full day of fun and adventure - Enjoyed seeing the beautiful island and getting to do and see so much in a day. George was very enthusiastic about his home and showed us so many places. From the beautiful views, caves, beaches, and of course the winery. A+

A great day with Isidora - Our day in Cephalonia was excellent. Our guide, Isidora was excellent. She had deep family roots in the area- her fondness of the island was as infectious as her wonderful spirit. She was extremely knowledgeable and we walked away from the day with a great appreciation for the beauty of Cephalonia, its natural wonder and marvelous history. We highly recommend this tour and guide.

Dimitra, our guide, was... - Dimitra, our guide, was excellent. We were a group of 13, 6 adults and six children(less than 5 yrs old).
Dimitra and her team were excellent and took good care and also helped with the kids whenever possible. I would highly recommend it.

Kefalonia - Kefalonia is a beautiful area, and this is a great tour. My sister and I got to see much more than we could have imagined (more like 3-4 cruise ship excursions rolled into one). My only recommendation is to make certain that you hire a tour guide in addition to a driver. Our driver, George was an excellent driver, very friendly and personable but he did not know much about the history of Kefalonia. He was very flexible and attentive to what we hoped to see. We ended our tour at the Orealios Gaea, Vine growers of Robola where we were able to do a wine tasting. This tour is definitely worth the time and money and I would do it again.
