Fun Half-Day Tour - Hotel pick up was timely. The tour was well organized and led by Julia, an obviously experienced guide. We lucked out with great weather to see all 3 volcanoes from the lookout point on route to the stone quarry. Even though it was a quarry-turned-tourist-attraction, it was nice to walk between the exposed white stone cliffs and see many examples of white stone carvings and statues. The short walk through the gorge to see the petroglyphs was an easy one, with only a few places where stepping down required some extra attention and care. Drop off was at the Plaza de Armas.

An excellent adventure for the whole family! - I traveled to Arequipa with my mother, a very beautiful city, we did the LA RUTA DEL SILLAR tour with Oscar Trips, the pick up was punctual, the introduction of the guide Neil Mike was very good, his explanation about the history, the nature that surrounds Arequipa very interesting, enjoyable, fun and interactive. They showed us more than I had imagined on the tour. The guide was very friendly and attentive to taking photos of everyone, he had good pronunciation of the Spanish language and the English language. Likewise, we made a stop at a neighborhood winery on the way with affordable prices, to buy water, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, florida water, it was not mandatory to buy, nor was there pressure, just recommendations. Something about the tour: the area called culebrilla, is not that difficult to walk, even my mother (who does not like to walk) was able to do it, many of the passengers made us laugh a little and were sad that a tourist had come with heels elegant, and obviously that walk does not lend itself to that type of clothing. Perhaps for that reason, although for some it is obvious, it is good to notify by WhatsApp (a briefing is not necessary), that you come with trekking shoes and sunglasses (if necessary). The Culebrilla Route was part 1 of the Sillar, and it was by far, and in my opinion, the best. On the other hand, the second part of the Sillar, where the famous Arequipa Petra sculpture is located, did not seem so good to us. I think it should be the other way around: A tourist structure where first the Misti and the agricultural part are shown (just as they did in Oscar Trips), then it would be Petra, and finally, the raw Sillar material with those canals or rather Torreones, the explanations of the animal figures in the stones and the possibility of making your own apacheta, I think would make the tour an incredible experience and a great closing with a flourish... I imagine that it is done this way because of the times of the route from the city of Arequipa to there and the return. But if it's possible to change that, that would be my recommendation. At the end of the tour, the passengers were free to get off along the way, and others went to the historic center. The guide Neil Mike recommended we have lunch at the La Capitana spicy restaurant, which was all very delicious. Overall, I loved the tour, and of course I would take a tour with Oscar Trips Peru again.

Best agency that I found! - Very nice tour, well organized and best price. They pick you up, very flexible and customer related! For example they give you blankets during your drive which is over 3000 meters above sea level. The tours are on English and Spanish available. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

Do not recommend - We did two tours with this company - Sillar route and 2 days Colca canyon trek. Sillar route was ok apart from the fact that the guide's English was poor and his English explanations were much shorter that Spanish explanations. However, another trip - Colca canyon trek was pretty awfull. First of all, owner of the company assured us that it is an easy trek and you do not need any preparation, which is completely untrue. It was a hard trek even for experienced people in the group! The guide's English was even worse and basically he did not explain anything about the canyon and did not care about his group at all. He was always going in front or at the back and chatting with other guides. The food was also poor, especially breakfast. I would not recommend this company, better choose someone more expereinced, event if it will cost more. Sillar route is ok, but do not choose this company for Colca canyon, it is the same as you would do it on your own...
