Chiguata - This fabulous excursion begins in the Historic Center of Arequipa at 6:00 am. The first stop is for breakfast in the town of Chiguata, a place where the landscape and the Inca terraces make the visit an unforgettable experience, we will also have breakfast in this place the price is approximately S/7.00.
This includes the time we move from one place to another. - El Simbral (Pichu Pichu) - In this place we will see a forest of Queñua and the flora that surrounds it

SALAR SALINAS - Then we will ascend to the viewpoint of the Pichu Pichu volcano, at 4,300 meters above sea level. From this point we will have another perspective of the Misti volcano and the city of Arequipa. Here we can see extraordinary fauna (vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and guanacos) and flora (yaretales, queñuales).
The next stop is the salt flat and the Salinas water bodies. Depending on the season, we can observe flamingos and optical illusions caused by the water mirrors typical of this natural area.
Here we are considering the return time to the city of Arequipa

Thanks for a great day Mario! - An amazing day with a super helpful and happy guide (Mario), we loved every second of it. The highlights for us were standing on the mirrored salt flat, taking in the stunning scenery, having a dip in the thermal pool and seeing lots of wild Llama & Alpacas!

It could be very good! But - 19 people instead of 15 max. The minibuses are not comfortable (also full and not air-conditioned) for a stony road. We cross the volcanoes, it looks very beautiful but only 1 stop at the bottom in front of the Misti. Stops are limited to Salinas 1 hour on a 6 hour trip with a meal at 3pm. Breakfast is lousy, lunch too and expensive for the quality in a place with no view. You might as well leave 1 hour later and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In short, barely 1 hour of stopping in the heart of the Salinas lagoon. It's great but no point of view. Already full of groups present, no walks even though the site lends itself to it. We have to leave when vicuñas cross the salt lakes... I lend my binoculars but the guide doesn't offer anything to observe them. A quick stop to photograph on the side of the Alpaca road. But quickly he goes to the thermal baths, paying for it already at 12 p.m. 1 hour wait if you don't want to do it (20c is not very hot!) at 4500 m. We're leaving for a 2-hour drive, it's 1 p.m., meal at 3 p.m. yay! .another 1 hour to return to Arequipa. And here’s the trick…
