Colca Canyon with Carlos - Carlos was a great guide. He always looked after us and told us very interesting things about the plants, fruits and the Colca Canyon. I particularly liked that we could walk alone and find our own pace. We always met again at agreed places.

Great hike! - We had a very interesting and good experience with Oasis Palmeras. Everything was well organized and the quality of the service was good. Our guide was Rafael and we had a great time with him. He is really passionate and has huge knowledge about the region. Overall, a fantastic experience on a hike with stunning views. Highly recommended!

Juan is a great guide - Juan is an amazing guide! It is dynamic and entertaining. I highly recommend it for the Colca Canyon. He taught us interesting things about the plants in the canyon. The pace of the walk was adequate and there was no pressure to go fast.

Oasis Arequipa, Perú - I booked a 2-day, 1-night trek to Colca Canyon in Peru. My guide, Elvis, led a fantastic trekking journey, provided great recommendations for the hike, and shared plenty of history along with the breathtaking canyon views. The accommodation was lovely, with ensuite bedrooms. The food was excellent and plentiful, and everyone I met was friendly and helpful.

Amazing time - Our Colca Canyon Trekking was so much fun! Our guide Alex was amazing and made sure we‘re fine and having a good time. He kept motivating us but didn’t rush us. It was really nice having him as a guide and spending time with him and enjoying beautiful views together. Our accommodation was also way nicer than expected, we just paid for a dorm room but got a private room instead. We would 100% recommend the tour.

Colca Canyon with Alex - Alex was our group's guide and was exceptional. The trek is tiring but very doable. Alex was completely accommodating to anyone's questions, concerns, and personal pace. It was very well organized, and I enjoyed the local feel quite a lot. The first meals are a bit skimpy, though I considered this a possible benefit to having a settled stomach for the long treks. The final lunch was a buffet with many options - mostly local - and was immensely satisfying. I felt the buffet to be an event of the tour itself. The vans were comfortable, and the guides and locals both very entertaining and interesting. The hostel for the 1 night stay is beautiful, and again I thought was very well organized. A wonderful tour.

It's pretty breath-taking! - We really enjoyed our trip to Colca canyon -- especially our tour guide, Alex. He had a really gentle disposition and knew how to handle our group of ten trekkers with the right amount of encouragement, information and freedom to take things at our own pace. It's a tough job and he was a pro: friendly, experienced, highly energetic, and insightful. One word of advice for less experienced hikers: I found this to be a very strenuous hike (particularly the descent). Bring poles and shoes with large treds. The path -- unlike the Inca Trail -- is very slippery. Basically, its sandy rubble. It was gorgeous but I personally wished I was better prepared.

Overall great experience. I recommend! - Our guide Peter was awesome. Really knowledgeable about the plants in the canyon and their importance. Overall awesome experience. Only downside was our room in the hotel. There was a missing window so lots of insects.
