Great tour! - We had a great time on this tour. HIGHLY recommend doing so with a guide. Francisco was our guide and was very helpful in finding all of the various animals during the Hanging Bridges tour. Without his guidance we would have maybe seen a bird or two and that's it. So much beauty to be seen. The Waterfall was busy but still gorgeous. Just know - what goes down must come back up - and that is 498 stairs worth - so be prepared! There are places to stop to catch your breath when coming back up but it is still strenuous.

Amazing and memorable! - This tour was a wonderful introduction to the area. We did the hanging bridges first which is an immersion in the tropical rainforest environment. Having a tour guide is a must as our tour guide Isaac worked overtime spotting wildlife which we never would have even noticed on our own. Breathtaking views from the bridges of the volcano. We had a snack of delicious fresh fruit before driving to the waterfall. With over 500 stairs down and over 500 stairs back up this is not for the faint of heart- but if you pace yourself you can make it and it is so worth it! Swimming in the waterfall pool was so refreshing and the magnitude of the waterfall is stunning. Back up the steps and then a short drive to a local restaurant not open to the public. We were treated to a custom Costa Rican lunch which was one of the best meals we have had here. The restaurant is open air and situated amongst the wildlife and a great spot for bird watching. Some of our tour group went on to see the volcano after this but we opted just for the two tours as this was already quite a full day. I can’t say enough about our tour guide Isaac- incredibly knowledgeable with an obvious passion for the environment. I would highly recommend this tour!

Awesome 2-in-1 hanging bridge and La Fortuna tour - Pedro and Robin were awesome! They picked us up from the hotel on time and Pedro was very methodical. He kept us updated on the program for the day, was very patient to stop and show things. We never felt hustled throughout the day. Both the hanging bridge and La Fortuna falls were great. Pedro helped us take multiple pictures of different bird species found. Great experience and will highly recommend this!

Attentive guides and amazing sights! - What an amazing day! Our tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable and attentive. We left early enough so it wasn’t too hot, saw amazing animals on our hike, and learned some interesting facts. We were served fresh fruit after the hanging bridges. We then went on to the waterfall. Our guide was absolutely correct about the expectations. We enjoyed the swim and the stairs were no joke. The best part was the lunch. They took us to the home of a family who made us a delicious authentic lunch. We talked while we watched the birds eat from som plantains they laid out. After the lunch our guide brought us to a tree where he spotted a mother sloth and her baby. Life goals met! I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was the best one on an already amazing trip.

Love La Fortuna & all the tours! - Julio was an amazing guide, so nice & knowledgeable! We met a family of 4 from California who were so wonderful to explore with. We loved the hanging bridges and the waterfall so much! I had hurt my knee & my daughter had a swollen ankle, but we had no problem with the hike or 500 steps up & down; we just took it slow. 🥰 Lunch was sooo delicious. Julio took videos of the spider monkey & toucans from his telescope for us, & Johan stopped on the way back bc he saw a sloth in a low tree. We saw a mama & a baby having a snack!! ❤️

Fun, informative tour - Julio was a wonderful guide for our group through hanging bridges and the waterfall. He kept our teens engaged and found many interesting animals for us to see. He told us stories of plants and the ecosystem. We liked the fruit break after the tour. I really loved the waterfall in the 2nd part. It’s so powerful and beautiful there. He was patient with our whole family as we made the long climb back up the stairs. The Casado afterwards was one of the best we had in Costa Rica. We enjoyed the leisurely lunch and nice setting by the water.

Better than we imagined!! - Jason was an incredible guide. We would have never noticed all the things he pointed out if we went through the trail alone. We also were shown a sloth on the road-solids jungle area. Thank you!

Bridges, Waterfall, and Lunch! An Amazing Day! - Our guide was so knowledgeable about all of the plants and animals observed during out hike. It was incredible how the tiniest details were noticed where we would have walked right past them. The waterfall was super cool - make sure you bring water shoes! And they cap the day off with an amazing lunch.
